不一定，像桃總出演的神奇四俠1-2就票房慘敗，就連飾演霹靂火的桃總，在回憶神奇2的歐洲首映禮上倉皇逃走，都坦誠道：
「這些掙扎的原因或許在於，我總是在宣傳一坨屎。要把一部這樣的電影吹出花，還要讓人們都去看，真不是一件容易的事。你知道自己就是個大騙子，別人一看就知道你在撒謊。」
所以這也不是絕對的，但總體來說美國大片確實比國產片有很多優勢。
