· Linkin Park為《變形金剛2》創作並獻聲的主題歌《New Divide》（關於New Divide這個名字的含義，官方說法是暗指威震天的復活）
· 《變形金剛2：卷土重來》將於6月24日全球上映，同時，該片的原聲大碟將於6月23日發行。《New Divide》是該電影原聲大碟中的主打曲目。
·《New Divide》5月18日全球同步播出
在這首Linkin Park專門為電影量身定做的主題曲中，雖然有Chester Bennington的憤怒呼喊聲，但卻沒有Mike Shinoda的Rap，所以那些懷念Mike聲音的歌迷們還得再等一段時間。
· 對於這次為電影創作主題曲，Linkin Park主創之一的Mike Shinoda曾經在樂隊的MySpace上表示：「我們有機會為本年度最值得期待的一部電影創作主題曲，這實在是太令人興奮了。拍攝一支與音樂相配的MV是一回事，但為大銀幕製作音樂卻是一項完全不一樣的挑戰，但我們樂意接受這個挑戰。」
· 電影導演Michael Bay則對樂隊的表現相當滿意，稱道「他們的歌曲絕對帶出了電影的精髓。」
· 其實這已經不是Linkin Park第一次為電影《變形金剛》提供音樂支持了。早在07年，《變形金剛》推出第一部電影時，他們的單曲《What I've Done》就已經被導演選入了電影的原聲當中，作為主題曲出現在電影中。
