《Amazing Grace》是美國的一首鄉村福音歌曲，歌詞由約翰牛頓 John Newton 於1779年所作。中文翻譯為《奇異恩典》，也有人稱《天賜恩寵》，grace原意為"優雅、優美"，此處解釋成"上帝對人類的慈悲、恩寵"。

是美國最膾炙人口的一首鄉村福音歌曲，是美國人最喜愛的一首贊美詩。ROV. John NEWTON作於1779年，開始是一首傳統的民謠，或黑人靈歌，它表達了宗教的忠誠，其中包含著一個平淡但是極富深意的贖罪的故事。

歌曲講述的是理想主義者威廉·威伯福斯在18世紀的英國國會長期堅持反黑奴運動並與反對者展開斗爭的故事。1797年，近34歲的基督教信徒、反對黑奴運動的鼓動者威廉·威伯福斯的身體被明爭暗鬥的議會給弄垮了，患上大腸炎，只好退休到他鄉下的朋友亨利和瑪芮安妮·湯頓那裡去度假。威廉·威伯福斯是一個特別有愛心的人，也十分珍愛動物們。

在鄉下，他曾嚴厲地指責兩個鞭打馬兒的農夫，怪他們不應該虐待動物。在威廉·威伯福斯休假過程中，他還向他的崇拜者,後來成為他妻子的芭芭拉·史普納講述了他所為之奮斗的事業…

八年前，僅21歲的威廉·威伯福斯在好友威廉姆·彼特的勸說下加入了英國議會。當時只有24歲的威廉姆·彼特後來成了英國國會的最年輕的首席執政官。

威伯福斯與威廉姆·彼特以曾經的黑奴運動領導人湯瑪斯·克拉克森和自由黑奴作家Oloudah Equiano的思想為指導，共同領導了反奴隸運動，與塔爾頓君主和克拉倫斯公爵展開激烈的斗爭。但是，盡管他們做了最大的努力，1791年，由威廉·威伯福斯擬定的關於反黑奴的議案還是被國會否定。
