初演喜劇的王傑獲導演馬偉豪極力推崇，覺得他在《這個夏天有異性》中演的小男人與以往角色截然不同，而第一次與Twins合作的王傑，雖然在片中占戲甚重，但卻自稱只是客串性質，王傑說：「我一都唔介意客串，一來我未試過做喜劇，二來Twins系同公司 小妹妹，幫 手有乜所謂呀！」
雖是拍攝喜劇，但其中一場扮十八銅人的戲分卻令王傑辛苦非常，因為要全身搽上金漆十多小時，洗了兩天仍未能完全洗掉，王傑說：「最慘系拍街景，全身金油仲要大熱天時住件干濕褸，俾 途人當怪物咁望住，都幾尷尬 ！」
