人物簡介：
Jodie Lyn O'Keefe於1978年10月10日出生於新澤西的Cliffwood。 她是三姐妹中最小的一個。她說自己小時候是個留著碗蓋頭的小傻瓜。Jodi說當初看到二姐當模特時便暗自決心也要試一試。她做到了並且說模特工作使她增強了信心並帶來了更多的朋友。
她說在天主教學校讀書時，身體開始瘋長。從班上最矮的學生長到5'8"，變成一個更高的笨手笨腳的大傻瓜。但在初中，她中途離校參加肥皂劇《Another World》的表演。然後又得到《Nash Bridges》中的一個角色，扮演 Don Johnson的女兒。後來Jodi和母親搬到了好萊塢，所以剩下的學業是通過郵件完成的。

摩根弗里曼出身於美國田納西州的曼菲斯，在修習戲劇前就讀於洛杉磯社區大學，1945年至1959年間在美國空軍服役。弗里曼是從紐約外百老匯開始發展，1968年才進軍百老匯，參與一部全由黑人演員演出的舞台劇【Hello, Dolly!】，之後便遊走於百老匯以及外百老匯的舞台上，從音樂劇、現代劇場再到古典的莎翁名劇，演出類型之多充分展現他的表演才能。

在百老匯闖出一番名號後，弗里曼轉投入電視圈，1971至1976年，在美國公共電視的一個兒童英語教學節目中扮演「好好讀」先生，期間並演出他的首部電影【Who Says I Can't Ride a Rainbow】－一部溫馨小品的兒童片。
七○年代期間，弗里曼的作品零星散見於大小影幕，不過，並沒有太突出的成績，一直到1980年在勞勃瑞福主演的【黑獄風雲】中精湛出色的表現才獲得影評一致的贊賞。1982至1984年間在一部電視連續劇中固定的演出則為他開展了更廣的知名度。
【黑獄風雲】之後，弗里曼接演的幾部片都沒有造成太大的回響，直到1987年在【黑獄風雲】中，以情緒化的皮條客一角獲得奧斯卡最佳男配角提名後，摩根弗里曼的演藝事業至此起飛，片約不斷。
1989年的【溫馨接送情】(又名<為戴茜小姐開車>此片也獲得當年奧斯卡最佳影片)是摩根弗里曼最為人熟悉的演出之一，片中弗里曼飾演一個正直而細心的美國南方私家司機，不慍不火的演出為他贏得美國外百老匯的最高榮譽－奧比獎，以及奧斯卡最佳男主角的提名。
1989年弗里曼的另一部作品，則是在馬修柏得利克主演的【光榮戰役】中飾演一個專為人挖墓穴的工人，堅毅而對世俗歧視極度不滿的他，毅然決定加入由馬修柏得利克領導、全由黑人組成部隊，為自己的自由而戰。而也由於在【光榮戰役】中正直的形象，為弗里曼爭取到在【鐵腕校長】中的校長一角。
弗里曼是美國黑人演員中，少數不會被限定在專門為黑人所寫的角色，與凱文柯斯納合作的【俠盜王子羅賓漢】，飾演羅賓漢的隨從，以及【殺無赦】中，飾演克林伊斯威特的老搭檔。
1993年，弗里曼轉戰幕後，推出他首次執導的作品【逮捕】。來年，弗里曼再度以【肖申克的救贖】一片第三度獲得奧斯卡的提名，片中亦擔任旁白主述者的弗里曼，沉穩卻具豐富情感的聲音演出，令人為之動容。

劇情簡介

朱莉·貝克（瑪德琳·卡羅爾飾）虔誠地相信三件事：樹是聖潔的（特別是她最愛的梧桐樹）、她在後院里飼養的雞生出來的雞蛋是最衛生的、以及總有一天她會和布萊斯·羅斯基（卡蘭·麥克奧利菲飾）接吻。

二年級時在看到布萊斯的藍眼睛那一瞬間，朱莉的心就被他擊中了。不幸的是，布萊斯對她從來沒有感覺。而且，他認為朱莉有點怪，怎麼會有人把養雞和坐在樹上看成樂趣呢。
