生平介紹：1974年3月伊娃·門德斯出生在弗洛里克的邁阿密。上大學時她師從伊薇娜·查巴克（Ivana Chubbuck）學習表演，此後她雖然在許多影片中扮演過小角色，但依然寂寂無名，直到在2001年影片《訓練日》（Training Day）中扮演了丹澤爾·華盛頓（Denzel Washington）女友後，情況才有所改觀，她出演的作品從喜劇到劇情片不等，這也提高了她與眾多知名導演合作的機會和能力，主要影片有《墨西哥往事》（Once Upon a Time in Mexico）、《限時追捕》（Out of Time）、《速度與激情2》（2 Fast 2 Furious）、《貼身兄弟》（Stuck on You）等。
