泰坦尼克號英語影評為:Titanic enriches us with a romantic story of young love, passion and feelings, full of utopias and dreams, mother and child fighting for power and greed, idealistic and self-identified clashes within a consenting human ambitions society and victims of their own vanity and pomposity. This is one of the films that most shocked the general public in the last twenty years. The huge collections that are logical because they got obvious that Titanic has one of those stories full of strength and feeling, with great dramatic content. If we add the stunning beauty of the image, thanks to advances in digital technology, success is understandable. Very successful movie, which tells the story of the sinking of the ship, but in the background shows a passionate love story. It achieves a harmonious balance in that, in the mix of history and feelings, and makes it almost perfect.

羅馬假日
Roman Holiday
Roman Holiday (1953) is a delightful, captivating fairy-tale romance shot entirely on location in Rome, and proced and directed by one of Hollywood's most skillful, distinguished, professional and eminent directors - William Wyler.
The film's bittersweet story is a charming romantic-comedy, a kind of Cinderella tale in reverse (with an April-October romance). A runaway princess (Hepburn) rebels against her royal obligations and escapes the insulated confines of her royal prison to find a 'Prince Charming' commoner - an American reporter (Peck) covering the royal tour in Rome. The story was reportedly based on the real-life Italian adventures of British Princess Margaret.
Wyler was known for other great films including Dodsworth (1936), Jezebel (1938), Wuthering Heights (1939), The Letter (1940), Mrs. Miniver (1942), The Best Years of Our Lives (1946), The Heiress (1949), Friendly Persuasion (1956), Ben-Hur (1959) and Funny Girl (1968). Wyler's well-crafted, stylish films that cover a wide range of film genres (family dramas, westerns, epics, romantic comedies, and even one musical) always included down-to-earth characters in real-life situations.
The film received a phenomenal ten Academy Award nominations for a comedy. It won a Best Actress Oscar for its under-experienced British (Belgium-born) actress named Audrey Hepburn - it was her first American film, although she had previously appeared in six European movies and on Broadway in an adaptation of Colette's Gigi. Another of the film's three Oscar awards, the one for Best Original Story was given to Ian McLellan Hunter. In 1992, a posthumous Oscar was properly credited and given to blacklisted Hollywood Ten author Dalton Trumbo, who actually wrote the screenplay. The third Oscar it received was for Best B/W Costume Design (Edith Head). The other seven nominations included: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Eddie Albert), Best Director, Best Screenplay (Ian McClellan Hunter and John Dighton), Best B/W Cinematography, Best B/W Art Direction/Set Decoration, and Best Film Editing.

美國電影《天生一對》
At the first time I saw the film, I was deeply touched by the naught and lovely twins, Especially the first time they were met at the school. It is very interesting, then I was touched by the content of the film, I think the love Is very important In our life, whenever you are, wherever you live, no matter what the situations we face, love is always in there, in our heart, it not changed by the environment we are, the true love is not change, it is can make us feel great no matter what the mood we are in,
The film gave me a good lesson about love after I saw it, the love about parents, the love between family members, from the film we can seen that the time has make the family apart, they live far away from each other, but what makes the family reunion, I think all the people can know the reason, it is about love, because they love each other very much, although they are apart along time, but the heart get close each other, the good end of this film can tell us above.
The true love is not changed by other peoples, in the film, the Meredith want to marry Nick because his property, but endless,
so I think money can make many things come true, we can many things we want, when it comes to love, money can not make love come true forever, I think this film is a good example about life, so we should love each other in the family and cherish the relationships we made.

1,當幸福來敲門the pursuit of happyness
it is inspired by a true story . a man who used up all his money to buy a kind of medical machine. he thought he would make a forture ,but it might be the other way around .long time has passed, but he hasn't sold even one set. the family is totally in debt .his wife have been working for 16h a day for 4 month and his son is sent into a kindergarten (which cannot spell happiness correctly ) .
the hero ,Chris, graated from college ends to be a stock worker, really impressive and amazing.but it is not conincident ,all the credits come from his personal efforts ,persistence, unyielding faith in himself. there are devastating things occured to this poor man :his wife left him ,he is swept off by his landlady. and he took his son to live in the charity house which they have to stand in line in time. i am deep moved by his faith in pursuit his happiness. ring the dark days ,he thought of THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE which says the pursuit of happiness. he doubt about it:whether happiness exsists or just the pursuit exsits. however hard it is ,he never gives up hope and trying .
the most classic words that i think the ones he told his son.
"Don't ever let somebody tell you , you can't do something , not even me , all rigjht ? "
"you got a dream ,you got to protect it . people can't do something themselves they want to tell you,you cant do it. you want some ,go get it "

DreamWorks presents an animated film directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne. Written by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger. Running time: 91 minutes. Rated PG (for kung-fu violence). Opening today at local theaters.
By Roger Ebert
"Kung Fu Panda" is a story that almost tells itself in its title. It is so hard to imagine a big, fuzzy panda performing martial-arts encounters that you intuit (and you will be right) that the panda stars in an against-all-odds formula, which dooms him to succeed. For the panda's target audience, children and younger teens, that will be just fine, and the film presents his adventures in wonderfully drawn Cinemascope animation. (It will also be showing in some IMAX venues.)
The film stars a panda named Po (voice of Jack Black), who is so fat he can barely get out of bed. He works for his father, Mr. Ping (James Hong) in a noodle shop, which features Ping's legendary Secret Ingredient. How Ping, apparently a stork or other billed member of the avian family, fathered a panda is a mystery, not least to Po, but then the movie is filled with a wide variety of creatures who don't much seem to notice their differences.
They live in the beautiful Valley of Peace with an ancient temple towering overhead, up zillions of steps, which the pudgy Po can barely climb. But climb them he does, dragging a noodle wagon, because all the people of the valley have gathered up there to witness the choosing of the Dragon Warrior, who will engage the dreaded Tai Lung (Ian McShane) in kung-fu combat. Five contenders have been selected, the "Furious Five": Monkey (Jackie Chan), Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Crane (David Cross). Tigress looks like she might be able to do some serious damage, but the others are less than impressive. Mantis in particular seems to weigh about an ounce, tops. All five have been trained (for nearly forever, I gather) by the wise Shifu, who with Dustin Hoffman's voice is one of the more dimensional characters in a story that doesn't give the others a lot of depth. Anyway, it's up to the temple master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim), an ancient turtle, to make the final selection, and he chooses -- yes, he chooses the hapless and pudgy Po.
The story then becomes essentially a series of action sequences, somewhat undermined by the fact that the combatants seem unable to be hurt, even if they fall from dizzying heights and crack stones open with their heads. There's an extended combat with Tai Lung on a disintegrating suspension bridge (haven't we seen that before?), hand-to-hand-to-tail combat with Po and Tai Lung, and upstaging everything, an energetic competition over a single mpling.
"Kung Fu Panda" is not one of the great recent animated films. The story is way too predictable, and truth to tell, Po himself didn't overwhelm me with his charisma. But it's elegantly drawn, the action sequences are packed with energy, and it's short enough that older viewers will be forgiving. For the kids, of course, all this stuff is much of a muchness, and here they go again.

簡愛的影評
Kent State University's school of theatre and dance performed a rendition of the classic, Jane Eyre this month. The show was a musical with all of the necessary elements to lift you from your seat and submerse youinto a society in nineteenth century England from the time the cell phone shut-off announcement was made until the last note at the curtain call. The recurring arches, darkened, soft lighting, and the use of a classic chorus to go along with them alluded that a sinister underbelly of social status and reputation were present in the performance.
One of the first things that an audience member noticed was the grandeur of the set. It was composed of a gothic-style foreground with rustic twigs of a root-like earthy appearance. There were grand arches for windows and entries as well. Also, the background was a large arch with the silhouette of roots. There were also two matching greek-style pillar arches on either side of the stage. They added a lot to many messages of the show. For one, they were grand structures that were barren inside which is much like Mr. Rochester himself. He was a man of high social stature but felt enslaved by his trick of a marriage and his grand yet incomplete (without a true love) home. The arches also suggest the importance of reputation with the same sort of fundamental grand image yet emptiness. The way that people are enslaved yet scramble to ascertain that solid image amongst their peers. The arches were almost inviting the audience to come inside to reveal their secret, the thing that was hidden deep inside that could send the structure crumbling in ruin.

Ice age 3 was really funny and it stays true to the series. Same old characters, a whole new adventure that everyone at any age can enjoy.
I saw the critics and I thought to my self that it would be good, but I didn't expect much, but I really did enjoy it more than I thought. It may not be the best compared to the other Ice Age films, but it still a great thrill ride that the audience can enjoy.
And if you find a theater near you that has it in digital 3D, go and watch it in 3D, because the action and adventure will excite you even more than it actually does.
Normally people think since it's a third part, then the movie won't be that great, but hear me when I say that keep that thought out of your mind and parents, take your kids with you, they are sure to leave with a smile and a long lasting excitement for more.

Most of the things the world is not used, or more with less. Like the time spent for every one minute, one minute less. Money, every one ringgit spent on a few ringgit. The principle is that one plus one equals two, one by one do not equal to zero?
Something in the world, can not see the eyes, hands or touched, but when you are willing to use it to share with others, it will be more and more, it is love.
One mother, when she gave birth to their first child, the great love of her darling baby, all the love he gave. Later, she was pregnant with her second child, she was very worried because she has all the love had been the first child. She also worried that if the love part of the second, it would not be the oldest original all the love my mother.
In fact it is the opposite! When the second child was born, the mother found that she loved, like the second boss is like love, and love to the eldest child has not been affected by the arrival of the second rection. Mother of two children have been all the love! In other words, the mother's love, the second child born e to increased twice. She also believes that if the future, third, fourth, and her motherly love will multiply, more and more. Love is so wonderful!
True love is not the求回報, it will become a steady flow of renewable resources. As long as you are willing to pay, God love you永不止息.
So, dear brothers and sisters, we must love one another, because love comes from the Lord, love is more to share more.

當幸福來敲門
Watching "The Pursuit of Happyness" tonight was almost a religious experience. Perhaps that is "blasphemous" because, although religion does play a small role in the movie, the overall story is about the triumph of a man against immeasurable odds.
One of the reasons for my "religious" feeling towards the film has to do with the audience that filled the theater for the 9:40 P.M. showing. For one thing, the audience was one of the largest I had seen in an Odessa, Texas theater in a long time. Even more importantly, the audience was definitely one of the most racially diverse groups I have ever seen. But, most important of all was the straight-forward tale "narrated" to us by the main character of the film, Chris Gardner.
All too often in this world, we take for granted what we are given. Sometimes, we accept defeat with barely a whimper. But some people such as Chris Gardner would not allow himself and his son to be defeated although he literally had nothing at one point in his life. Gardner invokes the words and the thoughts of Thomas Jefferson in his quest of happiness that was mentioned in our Declaration of Independence penned primarily by Jefferson. The fact that those words were even included in that document are amazing in themselves. Life, liberty and property rights are more frequently thought of as inalienable rights but the artist in Jefferson included the concept of pursuing happiness.
THE PLOT
If you've seen the trailers or read any of the reviews, you already know that Chris Gardner is a man down on his luck. He has a wife that works double shifts as a waitress and a son who he thinks the world of but is barely able to support. Gardner was abandoned by his own father at three and has vowed that his own children will always know their father.
But, Gardner has sunk his life savings in a "bone density" machine that is barely more efficient than an x-ray machine and far more expensive. His life becomes one "bill collector" nightmare after the other to the point where his wife decides to leave him and his son. After his wife leaves, Gardner's life gets even worse as he is kicked out of his apartment.
By chance one day, Gardner runs into a very happy man with a fancy red car who says he is a stockbroker for a major firm. With no formal training, but with a brilliant mind and a strong will to succeed, Gardner gets a chance, albeit a very small chance, to work for the Dean Witter brokerage firm. While he is studying for the broker test, he and his son are living in abject poverty.
WHAT I LOVED ABOUT THE FILM
Chris Gardner is portrayed to perfection by Will Smith in what is certainly one of the strongest performances of his life. Only his acting in "Ali" come close to his work here although he has had an extremely successful career ("Independence Day", "Men in Black", "Wild, Wild West", "Hitch"). Here, Smith shows both the strength and the courage of a man who is willing to fight against all odds and he does so without "overacting." We see Gardner lose his temper, almost lose his life but never give up on his quest for his and his son's happiness.
Gardner's son, Christopher, is played by Will Smith's real son, Jaden Smith, in his first motion picture role. Young Jaden does a fantastic job as the young boy who can live the life of abject poverty and still praise his father. The naturalness of the portrayal is obvious in every scene which speaks volumes for both father and son's talent.
This "naturalness" is also the result of the excellent directing of Gabriele Muccino, heretofore a director of Italian films as well as the fine screenplay by Steve Conrad ("The Weather Man"). The source material for the film is the book of the same name by the real Chris Gardner.
I also was impressed by the cinematography of Phedon Papamichael who shows both the beauty of San Francisco's richer sections, and the squalor of the downtrodden sections of the city.
The music composed by Andrea Guerra ("Hotel Ruwanda") is perfect for the film and is augmented by music from George Benson and other pop songs from the early 80's.
I went to the film with my wife and two stepdaughters who are in their early twenties. We don't always agree on the relative merits of the films we see. But all of us agreed that this is one of the best films proced in 2006. It shows the amazing strength of one person but represents the best is the American dream. Of course, for all the "Chris Gardners" in this country, there are countless indivials who don't succeed, but this film gives the hope that can be realized by faith in one's self and hard work.

很抱歉我不知道答得對不對我寫的是一篇和議論文差不多的演講稿。。。你看一下,不行的話我再改。
In the last fifty years, film has become not only a serious art form but a field of study by itself. Continuous advancement in film technology and high level of conceptualization of the film take viewer to the world outside his day-to-day world providing entertainment, which has made cinema a popular medium of masses.
I will approach the influence of films from 2 perspectives: its pros and its cons.
Firstly, its pros.
Though there is no data available on the systematic use of the documentary and the feature film in social ecation programmes in many countries, but experiences in Canada, USA, and USSR indicate that documentaries and films have contributed to bringing about a better social order and in building up a national community having common thinking about the nation.
Also, many foreign films are being shown in theatres as well as on television. Many feel that these films pose a threat to our cultural identity but in reality, these films help people to know the culture, values, and people of the world. As a result, they are able to select their value system with more wisdom and maturity, because cultural openness also contributes to the development of mind.
On top of that, many movies portray historical events. These movies are like history lessons to the audience since they show something we were not able to witness or take part in. Consider war movies such as "The Tuskegee Airmen" and "Memphis Belle". Though not one hundred percent accurate, both depict actual events of historical wars. They are examples of how movies can teach the newer generations about what their distant relatives did for their country.
Another type of informative movies describes the cultures and societies around the world. "City of God is a prime example". These movies show the hardships that people in other countries face in their day-to-day lives. Again, these are just two simple examples of how movies can be learning tools for a mass audience. Of course, the opposite can and often does happen as well. I am referring to the so-called 『informative』 movies that present skewed information. When people accept the presented information as absolute truth, they form baseless opinions.
However, there are its negative influences as well.
Many movies often incude scenes of violence and horror. Many a times, children viewing the movies will be negatively influenced by such scenes, instilling fear and horror in them at a young age, and this is highly unbeneficial to their future developments. Also, some may argue that there are movies catering to every age group, but looking in retrospect, little children may watch animated movies on their favorite superhero, which does supernatural things, or on some other character they admire, like Mickey Mouse, who does all sorts of things that are not possible in real life. These movies can lead children into thinking that they too can do all these things.
People may argue that these children have a mind that makes them want to do crazy stuff, but there is another perfect example of films having a negative influence, are teenagers. If this age group watches movies about a certain topic, they are greatly influenced by it.
Other young people may watch action movies, and the violence in these movies also has an effect on their minds. It makes them think more about violence and extremism, and may lead them into committing crimes and other acts that can hurt others. These young people may watch their favorite actors do other things that are disliked in society. Their favorite actors and characters may take drugs, like smoking cigarettes in their shows and movies, which negatively influences the young audience and they may begin smoking too, or they may think that it is 「cool」 or it will raise their social status.
In summary, movies have the capacity to influence society, both locally and globally. Cinema has truly played a major role in changing our society. Patriotic movies make us remember to love our nation.Good comedic movies have treated many patients through laugh therapy. Adventure movies have given us a sense of adventure to explore new possibilities. But the society, its trends, and people』s reactions to those trends influence the movies. In each case, the influence can be positive or negative.
