斷斷續續地把英國的電視劇《唐頓庄園》看完，感覺這個電視劇特別好，故事主要是從第一次世界大戰之前開始講一個貴族家庭的故事，這個貴族家庭有3個女兒，住在一個非常漂亮的大房子裡面，這個房子大概有幾百間房子，一群傭人管理這個房子同時伺候這個房子的主人。他們家的主要活動是舉辦不同的家庭聚會，請各界名流來家做客，其目的主要是這三個女兒的父母給女兒物色對象！
雖然是家長里短，但是從中可以看出英國社會貴族生活狀態，和類似的中國的大家庭差不多。但是反應出的文化卻完全不同，雖然他們等級制度很嚴格，但是叫我驚訝的是，每個生活在這個庄園的傭人，只是把這個工作當作是一份很體面的工作，他們很熱愛這個家，家裡的每個成員都是十分尊重這些傭人，這些傭人把這樣的工作當作是很榮幸的工作。這和中國的大家族裡的傭人完全不同，也就是中國的過去的傭人，在人格上是和主人不平等的。在這個電視劇里你看到的是平等的。隨著社會的進步，婦女參政議政的意識在覺醒，所以這三個女兒，老三積極參與其中，積極投入的社會生活中，特別是第一次世界大戰，他們全家都參與其中，把房子騰出來當醫院，女兒都當護士。也就是說，雖然隨著時代的進步，貴族的生活在也慢慢地改變，但是他們是漸進式的，不是革命式的，所以他們的傳統保持的特別好，貴族生活優雅高貴，懂得尊重每一個人，這在當下中國，太缺乏這樣的真正的貴族，滿眼看到的是暴發戶的嘴臉。
時代發展到今天，我們看到中國社會現在的種種醜行，我們才意識到傳統是多麼的重要，我們中國大陸把傳統徹底地給毀了，結果當今中國能夠向世界展示什麼呢？你看人家英國的童話般的婚禮，再看如今全國一起慶祝小王子的誕生。皇家真正起到了國家凝聚力！中國傳統的東西有嗎？當然有太多了，但是在經歷了一次次革命，傳統已經盪然無存了。所以中華文化的希望之星在台灣，我也沒有去過台灣，但是我知道台灣沒有中斷我們中華文化，所以傳統肯定在那裡保持的很好！所以台灣是我們中華文化的希望所在！
