今天，我看完了以飛快的速度從電驢上拖下來的《9》，拜讀了豆瓣上的誇聲一片。像我這樣一個動畫專業的外行都能看出來這個片子的動畫做得太牛了！這個加拿大的小製作公司的水平已經跟皮克斯不相上下了。

中國電影人現在很滿意於自己擁有的設備，韓三平四處向人誇耀中影公司在懷柔的製作基地多麼多麼好，設備比好萊塢的都要先進（我實在是無法不聯想到當年遠超日本、甚至遠超日本的老大哥美國的世界排名第九的北洋艦隊）。設備來的最容易，給錢就可以了，人們對設備的崇拜背後就是對技術的崇拜，我本來以為只有電影文化匱乏、整日在超英趕美的中國人才這么想，原來在電影文化的發源地美國也一樣。本片在強大的動畫技術背後，只有一片空虛。
就像去年的《WALL-E》一樣，《9》也講了一個老掉牙的科幻故事，歌頌了一個早就成了廢話的主題。事實上在這一點上本片還不如前者，至少前面那個機器人很可愛，整個故事也坳得很圓。而這個片子連這一點都做不到。從種種跡象來看（時長、情節），這個所謂的長片其實只是之前那個短片的加長版，所以看看原來的短片可能更能明白這個片子的本源。那個短片的故事可以講就是導演心中的一個概念，那個概念是什麼可能他自己也不一定能說明白。一個人沖破艱險到達了一個終點，而那個終點是一個宗教儀式，眾人一起升天。再回想到長片中，當那個蜘蛛精紅眼機器人復活時，它披著一面深紅色底的大旗，結合那個氛圍，我們很容易就能想到納粹的旗幟，再加上那個殘害科學家的軍官的形象，以及四處的骨骸，還有一下子殺了所有人的毒氣彈（原子彈），這個故事的主題就非常清楚了：人類如此自相殘殺，只會把自己引向毀滅，而拯救的辦法，就是回歸人性，將那個科學家的靈魂合九為一，人性的靈魂化作雨水，使大地獲得了新生。注意，那個科學家到底是誰？不就是造了那九個（機器）人的上帝嘛！（我還困惑的是為什麼只有五個人升天了？那豈不是只有九分之五的人性而已？不過反正這個片子早就已經放棄了把故事講圓這件事了，追究這個也沒什麼意義。）
「想像力」是眾多好評中共同提到的東西，我實在是想不出來這個片子的想像力在哪裡。片中有哪一樣東西是新的？
若論鋼鐵對肉體的蹂躪，《終結者1》已經做到了最好了，連張一白都能搞出個《密岸》來。而且在消費時代的今天，鋼鐵早就偽裝成了可愛的Ipod，與人類主人其樂融融得生活在一起了，人們哪裡還會想到將近一百年前的戰爭機器？
若論片中的末世風格，我們看的還少嗎？二戰之後，人們對核戰爭的恐懼使末世電影成了電影創作中的常客。這兩年隨著金融危機，好萊塢像流水線一樣生產末日電影，《終結者2018》《2012》《神秘代碼》，再加上這個《9》，好萊塢真會開玩笑，全都拿數字說事，直接指向數字滿天飛的華爾街。
再說說裡面的那些怪物，實在是太沒有想像力了，就是一些嚇人元素的拼湊，連直接代表恐怖的符號——骷髏骨都搬出來了，設計得甚至不如當年《玩具總動員》中胡迪在壞男孩床底下發現的那些怪物玩具。片中唯一還有點新意的人物造型就只剩下主人公了，但也沒什麼吸引力，對於看慣了《守望者》那樣的漫畫的觀眾而言也許會很有愛，可我是看多啦A夢長大的……
