The first half of the movie is a whimsical, romantic comedy and often slapstick. Guido (Roberto Benigni), a young Italian Jew, arrives in Arezzo where he sets up a bookstore. 美麗人生,也許是這四個字讓我在看到以上這兩個場面的時候有過這樣的期待.但是,沒有---如同在導演在前半部展示了生活的美好一樣,片刻之間,他又打碎了自己營造的最美好的東西----
基度確實就那麼死掉了,就在等待希望的最後一個夜晚!
