看明白電影和完全看懂每個場景，聽懂每句話是不一樣的。 我個人的經驗是，看專業詞彙少的電影，一般白爛好萊塢生活片勵志片什麼的2000詞就完全能看懂了。因為生活詞彙其實不多。每個人的單詞機構都不一樣的，像指環王...我覺得都能聽懂的很少，包括英語母語國家的一般人。x檔案有一集講個什麼煙草裡面有蟲卵的，我個人感覺是不開字墓能無障礙跟上電視，完全聽懂的只有60%。所以說這個很不好說的。

背劇本當然有用，特別是現代的生活方面的電影，對提高英語能力很有好處。但要注意：
1. 不要每天連著背兩個小時，這樣太辛苦，效果也不好。要化整為零，每天分幾個時段，每次背10分鍾左右。
2. 要注意選材，選擇難易適中的，精彩的句子背。
3. 要看和背相結合。就是說，要看一些適宜英語學習的片子，然後選擇其中的精彩對白來背，還可以模仿演員的語音語調及節奏感，這樣即練了聽力，也練了口語。
4.對於生詞，不要每個都查，但也要查一些，記下來，這樣才能擴大詞彙量，以後背起來會越來越順。
