"Dearest" at Venice International Film Festival CCTV NEWS
The 71st edition of the Venice film festival is in full swing, and China is on the scene. Actors Zhao Wei, Hao Lei, Zhang Yi and Tong Dawei are joined by director Peter Ho-sun Chan to present their new film *Dearest*, a fictionalised take on real-life child abctions in the country.

"Dearest" follows the story of a couple whose three-year-old son is abcted in the southern China city of Shenzhen. Their lives get turned upside down as they launch a lengthy search for the boy that covers half the country.
