3. 高級:The West Wing
這是關於美國白宮的政治題材美劇,整個劇基本都是對話,而且語速非常快,充斥著辯論和演講,詞彙也非常高級,聽起來很有難度.如果能把這部劇都搞透了,真可以謝謝十八輩祖宗了.
通過看美劇的方法，在2個月的時間內將《慾望都市》看了4至5遍，托福聽力由原先的20分的水平升至了滿分。她的做法就是，找到一部自己很喜歡的美劇，然後先看一遍帶中文字幕的。了解了大致的劇情，滿足了自己休閑娛樂的好奇心，然後第二，三遍的時候開始看帶雙語字幕的，遇到不認識的生詞，就停下來查一查，然後記錄。這樣雖然比較費時，但是相比死氣沉沉地不停地聽抄聽寫，已經要生動很多。經過一段時間的積累，已經記了滿滿一本的生詞和句型。這個時候，再去看第四遍和第五遍，完全脫離拐杖，不帶中英字幕。經過前面的積累，這時候再看情節已經輕松很多，並且能夠深入理解每個人物在說這句對白時候的動機和理由，對語言本身的理解也更深入了一步。於此同時，進行一下跟讀。比如，聽到一個人物的口語很好聽，發音標准優雅，就刻意地進行一下模仿，體會一下她的語音、語調、重音、節奏。這樣在訓練了聽力的前提下，口語水平也會有大幅度地提升。要知道美劇當中的對白和旁白是最好的口語學習範本。
