肖申克的救贖：THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION A film review by Jeff Pidgeon Copyright 1994 Jeff Pidgeon THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION is a strong debut for director Frank Darabont, a screenwriter who sold the script on the provision that he could direct it. This isn't a Film For The Ages, but it is involving and engaging for the majority of its 150-minute running time. Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman are both fine as convicts who meet in Shawshank Prison in the late 40's and get to know each other as they do time together. The suspense mainly revolves around 1) whether Robbins will continue to survive prison life; and 2) whether he should be there at all. The script does a decent job of sustaining these elements and keeping the viewer in doubt. On the other hand, there are few moments in the story that, once they are revealed, are different than you might expect. For the most part, the satisfying option is usually chosen, the one that will make the audience happy. While this makes for an enjoyable immediate experience , the side effect is that the lack of genuine surprise makes it less enring than you'd like. On the whole though, aside from script weaknesses and implausibilities (more than a couple), the performances are uniformly strong, if a bit two-dimensional in spots, the period feel of the art direction is thorough yet understated, Thomas Newman's score nicely supports things and is emotional without being too overpowering or treacly. For a prison drama, the violence isn't played up particlarly, but this ain't FREE WILLY, either. For the curious, SHAWSHANK makes for a good night out, as the saying goes. If the concept doesn't grab you from the start, I don't know that it would win you over. Marginally Recommended.

Braveheart is the partly historical, partly mythological, story of William Wallace, a Scottish common man who fights for his country's freedom from English rule around the end of the 13th century.
哈利波特 Harry Potter is a series of seven fantasy novels written by British author J. K. Rowling. The books chronicle the adventures of the eponymous adolescent wizard Harry Potter, together with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, his best friends. The central story arc concerns Harry's struggle against the evil wizard Lord Voldemort, who killed Harry's parents in his quest to conquer the wizarding world, after which he seeks to subjugate the Muggle (non-magical) world to his rule.
阿甘正傳Forrest Gump (1994) Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower IQ and the muscle problem, usually, people always think this kind of person can't be successful in doing anything. But, instead, this unlucky man has achieved lots of incredible success, he is a football star, a war hero, and later a millionaire! Forrest Gump mould incarnation of virtue is honest keeping one's word , conscientiously , brave paying attention to emotioning among film. In the film, Forrest Gump is a very pure image, but Jenny has become the degenerate symbol . To all that narrated, since beginning all behave with a kind of tender feeling and well-meaning attitude after all for the film, having even joined poesy composition, this makes the film seem soft and have no injury.
瘋狂的賽車Crazy Racer There are a million reasons to see this film! Shot in Xiamen by Ninghao (Director of Crazy Stone) Crazy Silver Medal Cyclist is a low budget highly entertaining comedy. You can see scenes that have been shot around Xiamen, including one in Alei』s old Dreamer』s House. The plot revolves around a Silver medal cyclist trapped by bad people (there does not appear to be any good people in this movie which is a nice change) who can』t race any more. He ends up working as a delivery man for a seafood restaurant after his accident, which forces him to mix with Thai boxers, Woolong Gang from Taiwan and two stupid thieves who have just started their stealing career. In addition he also gets mixed up with someone who sells grave space in a cemetry (a dying trade this) Not 100% sure whether there are subtitles, maybe someone can let us know. Last night』s showing was sold out (Tuesday night is discount night if you don』t know already)

另外有空的話我也推薦你看一些比較好的美劇，比如《gossip girl》,《實習醫生格雷》，《hero》,《veronica mars》這類的，以上這些都是口碑非常好我也覺得不錯的，而且要是你想學習一些時尚的東西的話看這些美劇真的是最好的選擇，當然要是想學俚語的話還是應該看《越獄》的呵呵
