低俗小說

馬沙·華萊士是在洛杉磯隻手遮天的黑社會大哥，最近以布萊特為首的幾個年輕人侵吞了他一隻裝滿黃金的皮箱，於是派手下朱爾斯和文森特去奪回這只箱子。清晨，朱爾斯和文森特到達目的地並闖進了那幾個人的房間，正在吃早飯的三個年輕人都十分驚恐。文森特找到箱子後，朱爾斯就殺死了除內線馬文以外的兩個青年，象往常一樣，在殺人之前，他背誦了一段鍾愛的《聖經》。
一、文森特和馬沙的妻子
在一間僻靜的酒吧里，馬沙正在和拳擊手布奇談話，要求他在下一場拳賽里故意輸給對手，這樣他就能得到一筆不薄的收入。在布奇拿錢離去的同時，完成任務的朱爾斯和文森特帶著皮箱回來向馬沙交差。由於有事要外出，馬沙又給了文森特一個新的任務，讓他陪自己的妻子蜜婭一個晚上。
離開馬沙後，有毒癮的文森特到毒販蘭斯那裡買了一包海洛因。晚上，他從馬沙家裡接走蜜婭，兩人去共進晚餐。晚餐後，蜜婭和文森特通過默契的配合，奪得了一次跳舞比賽的冠軍，從而滿意而歸。

為了從博彩中得到更大的一筆收入，布奇違背了他對馬沙許下的諾言。在拳賽中他將對手活活打死後，迅速地逃離了現場。馬沙聞訊後大怒，發誓一定要將布奇幹掉。此時，布奇順利地回到事先定好的汽車旅館里，第二天一早他就可以和女友菲比一起遠走高飛了。
但第二天早上布奇發現菲比竟然在慌亂中忘記帶上那塊金錶，於是他只好冒險去回家取表。在自己家裡，布奇殺死了蹲守的文森特，取回了金錶。在回來的路上，布奇竟然遇到了馬沙。追殺中，他們都跌跌撞撞地闖進一家雜貨店內。而該店的老闆梅納德將兩人擊昏並捆綁起來。梅納德叫來一個同夥撒德，兩人是同性戀情人並是性虐待愛好者，他們把馬沙帶到一間暗室內強暴。布奇乘機掙開繩索逃走，但又決定回去搭救馬沙。於是他用刀劈死了梅納德，掙脫了的馬沙則開槍把撒德打成重傷，並決定折磨他。最後在布奇為他保密的前提下，馬沙冰釋前嫌放過了布奇。
三、邦妮的處境
在朱爾斯和文森特開槍打死布萊特時，廁所里還躲著一個他的同黨。這個人突然沖出來向朱爾斯和文森特開槍，但十分不幸的是，他一槍都沒能打中目標。在結果這個倒霉的小子之後，朱爾斯認為此次的倖免於難不但是上帝的「神跡」，對他更是一道神諭，所以他決定從此退出黑幫洗手不幹。文森特卻對此不以為然。隨後，他們倆帶上馬文一起離開去向馬沙交差。
在路上，文森特不慎走火打死了坐在後排的馬文，弄得車內血肉橫飛，一塌糊塗。
為了避免被警察發現，他們只好到住在附近的朋友吉米家尋求幫助。可「懼內」的吉米告訴他們這樣一個事實，他妻子邦妮再過一個多小時就要下班回家，如果她看到這個情景，一定會憤怒地向他提出離婚的。朱爾斯只好向馬沙求助。不一會兒，由馬沙派來的「狼」先生就趕到吉米家中。在精明干練的「狼」先生的指揮下，朱爾斯和文森特迅速清洗了汽車，換上了干凈的衣服，在邦妮回家前妥善地處理了問題。

《低俗小說》融會了黑色電影、黑幫電影等多種電影流派，導演昆汀·塔倫蒂諾根據自己的喜好，把自己喜歡的人物、情節、對白、道具、歌曲等通俗文化共冶一爐，炮製了這部充滿了種種奇觀的怪電影。從這部電影開始，獨立電影開始獲得主流電影的全面認可，《低俗小說》以800萬美金成本搏得全球2億美金的票房神話、在戛納榮獲金棕櫚大獎以及獲得全球影評人一致贊譽的評論界神話、米拉美公司由獨立製片公司被迪士尼全面收購，正式進入主流電影製作公司行列。
