虽然从电视剧来看早已对南派三叔不报有任何期待，但仍期望《盗墓笔记》的电影改编至少能比肩最次的《夺宝奇兵5》也是好的，但这是一部再一次让人目瞪口呆的电影，在特效上自觉欠《封神传奇》一个道歉，而在剧情上亦当表达对《九层妖塔》深深的歉意。
作为一部本当高特效占比的奇幻冒险片，《盗墓笔记》可谓延续了电视剧中天雷滚滚的精髓，罄竹难书的粗制滥造，已然不是特效有什么问题。而是做到了另一种极致，其无时无刻不在提醒观众，“别太当真盗墓事，我们只是逗你玩”的突兀，而在服饰装束上，电影给人一种极为错乱的观感，这到底演的是古装武侠片，还是未来科幻片，空洞的年代背景，一如《封神传奇》中那一身金衣的妲己，给人以与这特效相能并肩的尴尬。
如果说《九层妖塔》至少还能用一本正经的胡说八道来拯救世界，那么《盗墓笔记》连这最后的一本正经都没有做到，且不谈鹿晗与井柏然根本不适合原著对角色的定位，张博宇的形象哪里与王胖子的人物形象有半点吻合，自以搞笑的种种设定，只是让人感觉一股扑面而来的冷风，而李仁港所赋予鹿晗与井柏然两位的卖腐戏码，更是狗血到惨不忍睹，至于电影所塑造的救世界于倒悬的故事与最后的长生又哪里有半毛钱关系？整个剧情种种无厘头的逻辑，使电影失去了《盗墓笔记》这一华章最后一星半点的魅力。
其实《盗墓笔记》这四字背后的的内容沉淀，就足够撑起一部可以险象环生，悬疑迭出的电影，根本不需要所谓明星光环的加持，毫不夸张的说如若电影能将昔日只能得见笔尖的奇幻历险呈现银幕，而不是靠着请了几位明星卖腐来博人一乐，那么这当是一部电影成就演员的佳作，而不会是现在这样乌烟瘴气的烂俗，国内电影浮夸盛行的风气，不仅是毁了原著，更毁了本当凭借演技而不只是颜值来立足的演员。
对盗墓华章何处寻的质问更是一种无奈，《盗墓笔记》生在了一个最好的时代，网络文学的发达不会埋没任何一部优秀的作品，但它也生在了一个最坏的时代，当观众只将目光瞩目于明星，当电影只是成为了谋利的工具，从影视化的伊始，就注定了这只会是一场荒诞的闹剧。
