断断续续地把英国的电视剧《唐顿庄园》看完，感觉这个电视剧特别好，故事主要是从第一次世界大战之前开始讲一个贵族家庭的故事，这个贵族家庭有3个女儿，住在一个非常漂亮的大房子里面，这个房子大概有几百间房子，一群佣人管理这个房子同时伺候这个房子的主人。他们家的主要活动是举办不同的家庭聚会，请各界名流来家做客，其目的主要是这三个女儿的父母给女儿物色对象！
虽然是家长里短，但是从中可以看出英国社会贵族生活状态，和类似的中国的大家庭差不多。但是反应出的文化却完全不同，虽然他们等级制度很严格，但是叫我惊讶的是，每个生活在这个庄园的佣人，只是把这个工作当作是一份很体面的工作，他们很热爱这个家，家里的每个成员都是十分尊重这些佣人，这些佣人把这样的工作当作是很荣幸的工作。这和中国的大家族里的佣人完全不同，也就是中国的过去的佣人，在人格上是和主人不平等的。在这个电视剧里你看到的是平等的。随着社会的进步，妇女参政议政的意识在觉醒，所以这三个女儿，老三积极参与其中，积极投入的社会生活中，特别是第一次世界大战，他们全家都参与其中，把房子腾出来当医院，女儿都当护士。也就是说，虽然随着时代的进步，贵族的生活在也慢慢地改变，但是他们是渐进式的，不是革命式的，所以他们的传统保持的特别好，贵族生活优雅高贵，懂得尊重每一个人，这在当下中国，太缺乏这样的真正的贵族，满眼看到的是暴发户的嘴脸。
时代发展到今天，我们看到中国社会现在的种种丑行，我们才意识到传统是多么的重要，我们中国大陆把传统彻底地给毁了，结果当今中国能够向世界展示什么呢？你看人家英国的童话般的婚礼，再看如今全国一起庆祝小王子的诞生。皇家真正起到了国家凝聚力！中国传统的东西有吗？当然有太多了，但是在经历了一次次革命，传统已经荡然无存了。所以中华文化的希望之星在台湾，我也没有去过台湾，但是我知道台湾没有中断我们中华文化，所以传统肯定在那里保持的很好！所以台湾是我们中华文化的希望所在！
