1962年9月一个阳光灿烂的日子，美国总统肯尼迪说了上面这番话，宣布全面推动美国登月计划，14个月之后，肯尼迪遇刺，7年之后，1969年，阿波罗11号登月成功。
同样是在六十年代，66年，一部名为《星际迷航》的电视剧开始在美国播映，这部“观念超前”的剧集除了打破种族、性别的歧视之外，某一集中甚至出现了两位女性亲吻的镜头。这样“怪异”而又缺少动作场面的剧集只有短短三季就匆忙收场。
2009年，《星际迷航》系列的第11部电影上映，除了它前面的10部电影，它的家族里还有7部电视剧，包括后来的trekkies（《星际迷航》死忠）们称之为“The Original（初代）”的那部1966版《星际迷航》。
是什么让一个虚幻的世界存活了43年呢？是冷战的背景与暗示？是超前的人文观念和角色关系？是宏伟的历史设定？是场面和动作？是投资者的大笔美元？

这就是《星际迷航：初代》诞生的背景——正经点说，这是美国人在和平与繁荣中面临内外挑战的转折时代。不正经点说，这是一个全世界都沉浸在雄性激素里的时代。
《星际迷航》从上到下都烙满了荷尔蒙过剩的印记——好吧，是激荡年代的印记。首先，它的主角舰：进取号（Enterprise 又译“企业号”）和1960年下水的世界上第一艘核动力航母同名，这个“同名”不是它们都叫“Enterprise”，而是更加夸张——它们都叫“USS Enterprise”，“USS”是什么意思？现实世界里，USS是指“美国军舰 United States Ship”，而在《星际迷航》里，它的意思是“星际联盟军舰 United Star Ship”。想想看，一部星际探索主题的电视剧，主角舰却和海军军舰同名，毫无疑问充满了美国大国沙文主义的暗示，充满了攻击性和侵略性，更让人想起以坚船利炮来掠夺新殖民地的大航海时代。
再说说《星际迷航》的那句著名的“宇宙，最后的边疆”，这句话耳熟吗？熟悉肯尼迪的人都知道，肯尼迪作为美国历史上最年轻的一位总统，施政纲领就是“新边疆”（New Frontier），他在民主党全国代表大会上接受总统候选人提名时发表演讲说道：“我们站在新边疆上——一边是破碎的希望与梦想，是未知的机会和危机中的信仰。另一边是科学与太空的未知之地，是和平与战争的未定之数，是愚昧与偏见的未解之题，是贫穷与暴富的未平之患。”何为“新边疆”政策？简而言之就是：减税、增赤字、争霸、上月球。猪湾搞古巴没搞定，打越南“中道崩殂”，“新边疆”中的政策对后世影响不可谓不大，但真正实现的却不多，“上月球”是其中一个，而这样的“新边疆”烙印，当然也盖在了《星际迷航》的身上，《星际迷航》剧情的主线就是探索未知的领域，不断开拓未知的宇宙，不断冒险，不断延展 “新边疆”。
说到了“新边疆”与《星际迷航》的关系，就更要说说冷战在这个科幻史诗中投下的影子。我不得不很遗憾地说，在《星际迷航》这第11电影中的那个大反派，Nero，他的种族罗慕伦人在最初的设定中很有可能就代表中国人……了解过《星际迷航》背景设定的人肯定不会对此感到惊讶：既然星际联盟和瓦肯人（就是那个尖耳朵的民族）是盟友，而罗慕伦人和瓦肯人又是同一个祖先，这种关系当然很容易让人联想到台湾、美国、中国三者的关系……当然，说它是北韩、韩国、美国的关系也行。而《星际迷航》里另外一个大反派种族克林贡人，据称是影射苏联人。更有趣的是，星际联盟和克林贡人进行了长时间的冷战并且划分中立区，这毫无疑问是现实在科幻作品中的反映。
冷战、探索、冒险、战斗，这些充满了雄性味道的侵略性概念，从茹毛饮血的人类文明深处飘渺而来，深深融汇于《星际迷航》的血液之中，让《星际迷航》变成了一部宇宙中的大航海史诗，这才是《星际迷航》的精神本源：睾丸酮和肾上腺素的大量分泌——相信我，我是严肃的。没有人能够否认雄性精神在人类探索未知领域方面——无论是在远古时期还是在丝绸之路上，在大航海时代还是在航天飞机时代 ——起到的推进器作用，无论它的本质是好斗还是贪婪，它让我们走到了现在。
不如就到这里吧，不要去夸奖探索精神在历史长河中为我们文明之船的远航提供了怎样的动力，也不要去慨叹征服与战争的悲剧又带给了我们怎样的痛苦和伤痕，更不需要探讨那些虚构的幻想的故事是否真的能为我们未来的“第一次接触”提供参考，简简单单，坐进影院，我们只需要知道，进取号开始了新的征程（翻译：派拉蒙开始了新的捞钱），想放松下刺激下，上船吧！
至于屏幕前那些trekkies，听说他们有三种前途，第一种是成为比尔盖茨那样的书呆子富翁，第二种是成为NASA的书呆子科学家，第三种是成为电车上的书呆子秃顶怪蜀熟。无论如何，在电脑屏幕前的你，是不是第一次发现了原来《星际迷航》可以这么Man呢？

C. 星际穿越影评英语
Interstellar was an absolutely breathtaking experience for me. I thought the writing, the direction, the score and especially the acting were all top notch. The film had the feeling of space films from the past, like 2001: A Space Odyssey, it also had elements of other space adventures, namely Apollo 13 and Planet of the Apes.
The space scenes in particular, have music played to that shows it very much is, and feels like this great expanse of the unknown, an infinite vacuum of an ocean that is full of many beauties and terrors. Hans Zimmer basically added to the already sweeping story of space and time, with an equally overwhelming score that I did not expect to be impacted by it in such a way.
Christopher Nolan takes the audience to where they've never truly gone to before until now, through wormholes and the time distortion that black holes can make to nearby planets. It is a big yet beautifully done self-contained adventure. It is not only a fully fledged space epic, but also a cautionary environmental warning for what will happen if we don't leave the Earth when it is a desolate, st-coated wasteland.
If you want a true space opera that encompasses the wonders of the galaxy, time travel and completely believable characters that need to save humanity, Interstellar is the film for you.

As a complete and utter fan of LOST I ventured down to Sydney on Tuesday for the World Premiere of Star Trek to feast my eyes on JJ Abrams new venture. I have never seen Star Trek. Not one episode, Not one movie. Yet the idea of JJ Abrams attempting to breathe creative life into a franchise drew me to the Sydney Opera House to meet my Idol and to see just what he can do.
As the lights went down in the glorious Concert Hall and the vibrant cast and crew thanked the audience and took their seats an anxious hush swept the hall from united Trekkies and newcomers alike. As Paramount, Spyglass and the Bad Robot flitted across the screen Michael Giacchino's score pulsed through the audience and the film began.
From the first stunning visuals of a pre-Enterprise time to the final iconic sweeping space shots Star Trek is fully and wholly back, completely engaging for Fan and newcomers alike. Easily grabbing a mainstream audience and yet still retaining the in-crown jokes and nuances of the original Universe, Abrams new Trek is quite the achievement.
The actors are superb and the appearance of Leonard Nimoy and Eric Bana takes the tale to the beyond.
It is easy to see why Paramount has held on to the innovative creative Bad Robot team ready for a sequel as Trekkie storytelling is reinvented for today.
As always I was blown away with the power and creative precision that JJ Abrams brought to the screen. As a final note I recommend this film for everyone who has ever looked to dream up the impossible, to take an idea that you love onto the next level, a feat achieved by the truly glorious Abrams and crew.
A must see.
