『肆』 迪斯尼动画《花木兰》中，我记得英文的台词是……
匈奴的英文名是hun,是祖居阿尔泰山脉以东南、大兴安岭以西、蒙古草原以南、青藏高原以东北、华北平原以西北戈壁披发左衽的北方民族。
所以直译过来包含了“蒙古”向我们进攻了的意思，其实匈奴的英文名字就应该叫:xiong nu.是特殊指定名词。鉴于史诗和故事性，并没有把木兰的时代进行引入，花木兰在事迹的流传上确实抗击的是柔然而不是早于他的匈奴。
