英语电影字幕翻译脱离剧情

1. 看懂一部不带字幕的英文电影，英语要达到什么水平

留美三年雅思7.5 然而只能看懂动画片。但公开课完全看得懂。
别被楼上说四六级误导了。考试英语学习是永远看不懂电影和电视剧的。
因为电影，电视剧，一是有海量哩语，像中国成语词组一样，但我们在国内课本和阅读中就从不会学到。二是会大量连读，像going读goen等。两个词只发第一个词第一个音节。美国教授讲课就不会连读，但电视剧电影必须连读。第三，很多生活中词组是考试和看英文书中学不到的，比如各种食物，各种小东西(纱窗，摄像机，扳手，椅子后背)，还有美国有中国没有的工作等。在国内如果只靠考试材料和阅读是永远不能看懂的。除非一自学美剧，二出国才能突破。
而我在美国从听不懂老师讲话，到完全听懂，需要听一年的课(听不懂也坐在那听，算9个月每周15小时，一共540小时。当然你如果拿着字幕主动学习，时间可以花得少很多)。这个水平可以无字幕看懂公开课。暑假花一个月时间，每天对照《摩登家庭》，查出所有不懂的词组，看完一季24集，(每天大花4小时) 后，可以看懂老友记。老友记真的是所有美剧中用词最简单的电视剧了，所以才成为经典，并不是因为特别好看:)过一个暑假再花一个月时间，口译训练《摩登家庭》中文剧本，每天弄花了一个月，到第十集。可以欣赏《绝望主妇》了，说欣赏的意思是能流畅看懂剧情，不懂的能根据上下文猜意思，但真要把每句都搞懂，还是要查很多词组。我并不是说口译是使听力上台阶的方法，我口译主要是为了练口语。期间单词和句子积累是附带的。如果想看懂美剧，最高效的方法还是直接看三遍（中文字幕，英文字幕查出不会的表达，无字幕）电影，我觉得比《摩登家庭》和《绝望主妇》这种级别的电视剧要难一个等级。。。因为说话更加喜欢用最流行的哩语，或者文艺装逼，或者说话只说一两个词塑造你懂的效果。欣赏动画电影，基本是无字幕看懂公开课的水平，再了解一些基础的地道词组。ps我暑假之间还在美国留学，虽然因为不想学英语，被动英语学习已经进入瓶颈，但还是有些些词的积累。所以大家不要以为只要暑假2个月啊。还有，有些时候你取样美剧，发现“哎我能看懂xx一集了（比如我上面装的逼）！”但其实美剧集与集之间难度不同，季与季之间相差更大。比如摩登家庭6用词就比1难。但总而言之，用我说的方法devote在美剧上（每天至少4个小时），一个月会成为一个质变点/ 一季美剧会成为一个质变点。顺带推荐EnglishPod介绍地道短语（喜马拉雅电台上有），Effortless English 都是很好的短语补充材料。

2. 英语电影字幕翻译需要什么技巧

要注意语境，也就是说话的场所和说话人的脾气。电影里面的翻译肯定不能像书面翻译那样死板，需要多角度，多层次地翻译，特别是对省略句、俚语等的翻译时更应注意说话人的口吻。
其次我认为应该注意同步性和协调性，比如说说话人讲地很快，那么就可以翻译稍微短一点， 有些东西就不翻译出来。
我知道的就这么多，你可以多看看中英文对照的电影，那样对你会有好处的，。

许渊冲先生则从诗学的视角提出“意美、形美、音美”的翻译标准（具体内容你可以具体查一下）
国外的以奈达的翻译理论最具代表性，英国翻译理论家泰特勒（Tytler）也提出了三条翻译原则：一是要将原作的意思全部转移到译上来；二是译文应当具备原作的风格和文体，而且要保全原作的真实；三是译文和原作要同样的流利自如。

在翻译学领域,研究者提出不少翻译的原则,对翻译实践提供了有效的指导。然而,针对英文电影片名汉译的原则却不多,导致片名翻译不统一局面的出现。以现有的翻译原则为基础,再把电影作品自身的特殊性考虑进来,英文电影作品片名应遵循七个翻译原则:
开门见山原则、
音意结合原则、
一见钟情原则、
内容等价原则、
文化体现原则、
审美体现原则、
票房效应原则,
以期对英文电影作品片名的汉译起到一定的指导作用。

建议下载封装软字幕的mkv格式电影文件，一般封装有中英双语、中文、英文3条字幕，在播放软件的字幕菜单，选择英文字幕即可。

也可以到国外字幕网站去找纯英文的字幕，可能需要调整时间轴，才能与你的电影版本同步。
