很多人都知道可以用看电影学英语，但是并不是所有的人都从中受益的，这其中存在很多的误区。

误区一：电影学英语很有趣。错！恰恰相反，用电影学英语在大多数情况下是很痛苦的，欣赏电影和用电影学习英语绝对是两码事情，很多时候，你要不停的定格，重复，用笔作笔记，其实你会发现，这样绝对是需要很大耐心的。

误区四：电影学习花不了多少时间。如果是我的话，一般都是学真人秀节目，一集大概40分钟多一点，第一遍我大概用了5个小时记笔记，之后会看了几遍。所以基本上40分钟的片子大概要消耗你7～8个小时，所以如果是一部2个小时左右的电影。我觉得你拿来一个多月来学习都是不为过的。

作为一个英语专业的学生，我个人认为用电影学英语确实有助于提高个人的听说水平，但是不能只看热闹，如果以学英语为看电影的目的的话，恐怕就得转变一下看电影时的注意力了。我个人觉得我在看电影时对语言使用的关注多于情节本身的关注。想真正有所收益至少要看3遍以上。第一遍中文字幕，第二遍英文字幕，第三遍无字幕。如果能做到无字幕全看懂，那这部电影就算学习成功了。所以电影的选择上不是很适合过于激烈的动作片，一是台词比较少，场面太花哨分散注意力，二是这种电影看多遍的可能性不大。

提高听说首先要选择你所倾向的语音：英音还是美音。

好的英音电影有：
赎罪、傲慢与偏见等由凯拉·奈特利出演的电影，她是标准的英国发音。还有小岛惊魂是新东方老师推荐的，妮可基德曼主演，不过是恐怖片。
美音好电影就很多，好莱坞的都行：
上面的仁兄推荐的都不错，肖申克的救赎、美丽心灵都挺好，阿甘正传也很好，但是太长了，3个小时，如果学习的话需要很长时间。
另外看些校园剧，不是因为内容突出，而是因为口语流行语比较多，有助于学习美国的生活用语。例如公主日记1、2，灰姑娘的玻璃手机，舞出我人生，21，等都不错。
此外看美国电视剧也是很好的提高途径，但不建议看越狱、英雄等流行美剧，除了情节紧张外收获不多。老友记、成长的烦恼都是学习的首选，其中以后者优先。
还有一些迪斯尼梦工厂的动画片也很棒，因为动画片用语简单而文明，有助于初学者。好的动画片有：
超人总动员、小鸡快跑等。
反正看电影学英语是很不错的，毕竟劳逸结合嘛~
