《大红包》在剧情的开头就提到了随份子的事情，陈重在绿叶公司就职的十年，客户、同事各种大小喜事随的份子竟然高达几十万，这为后面剧情收红包埋下了伏笔。现在的社会，年轻人的社交中，一年随份子少的几千元，多的上万元不是什么稀奇事儿，虽说日后自己办喜宴也可以回过来，但随着跳槽、辞职等各种工作的变动，所有的份子钱真的能够收回来吗？回到日常生活，小城市一个月三四千元的工资，大城市上万元的月薪，扣去生活成本，又有多少钱能够挤出来随份子？因此，笔者认为《大红包》剧情符合当下“人情风”乱象的特征，揭露了人们日常生活中不好的现象，符合相关纪律规定中提到的不允许大肆操办宴席敛财的价值观。

电影中除了收红包这个大主题之外，还出现了两次送红包的特写。陈重为了求经理钱好史（贾冰饰）办事，送了两次红包。这个剧情暗喻了当下职场中的一些潜规则，更加揭露了年轻人在职场中的不易，和“要想成事必送礼”的陋习。小片段的介绍陈重因为母亲手术欠下网贷迫不得已开展结婚骗局的一个过程，更说明了小人员在社会中的不易，值得人们透过电影去思考。

至于电影的艺术手法，情节通过多次反转，借用人物的特殊背景，向大家展现了陈重为掩饰自己假结婚的骗局，一边和好兄弟大瑞（张一鸣饰）谋划各种桥段应付同事，一边聘请演员Ellie（克拉拉饰）并瞒着她让她扮演新娘“骗”婚的各种桥段和乐点。值得一提的是，电影的结尾，由于弥天大谎带来的压力，陈重坦然的在大家面前承认错误，求得了Ellie的原谅，将不正确的价值观扭转了回来，让电影主题得到了升华，剧情得到了圆满。
