有一天，来了一个叫盖的人，他告诉瓜哥一家，世界末日将要降临了，必须离开他们现在的地方。从此瓜哥一家和盖一起开始了冒险生活。在路上，盖想出了很多的好点子来帮大家渡过难关，于是家人都开始信任盖而不信任老爸——瓜哥。瓜哥很不服气，就想出了很多的歪点子，吸引家人来信任自己，结果却适得其反。盖告诉瓜哥，生活是需要用脑子的。瓜哥用盖的方法来思考问题，解决问题，果然让家人刮目相看。最后的末日终究到了，盖告诉他们要追逐光明，瓜哥用力将自己的家人抛向了安全的山对面，而他自己却留在了孤山中。他们家人获救了，估计上天被他的善良所感动，让他躲过了这一次大浩劫，瓜哥在老虎和食人鸟的帮助下与家人们团聚了。阳光总在风雨后，经过了这些挑战，他们终于在一个充满生机的小岛上过上了幸福而快乐的生活。
看完了精彩电影我被瓜哥爸爸的行为感动了，他遇到了危险首先就想到了自己的孩子们，而不是他自己。我更加明白了不管遇到什么困难，都要学会动脑子，只有善于动脑筋，坚持不懈，再大的困难也可以解决。
