无助沮丧的阿宝几经周折，找到了阿莲，可看到妈妈如今的幸福生活，又得知妈妈怀孕的消息，弱小而懵懂的他隐隐地意识到，自己唯一的亲人是阿胜，所以他必须折回去找父亲。

回到旅店，暴戾的阿胜劈头盖脸就给了阿宝一巴掌，原始而纯朴的亲情再次被扭曲，渴望而陌生的亲情再次在阿宝心里支离破碎。

从此，阿宝在恐惧与失望中艰难度日。长时间的生活拮据，再加上年幼的他尚无是非观、荣辱观，阿宝在同学家玩时，顺手牵羊地拿走了一块珍贵的手表。
