The Shawshank Redemption is directed by Frank Darabont and starred by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman。

《肖申克的救赎》由弗兰克•达拉邦特执导，蒂姆•罗宾斯、摩根•弗里曼等主演。

The film tells the story of Andy，the banker，who is accused of shooting his wife and lover。Andy is sentenced to life imprisonment，which means he will spend the rest of his life in Shawshank prison。

Rhett was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder in 1927，with several unsuccessful Paroles。He became an authority figure in Shawshank prison。

㈦ 电影观后感英文演讲

Ellen Gulden is an ambitious young writer working for a New York-based magazine. When the film opens, it's 1988, and Ellen is being questioned in connection with the death of her mother. Kate Gulden (Streep), a beloved member of a small upper New York state community, died in her sleep at the age of 48. At the time, she was suffering from advanced, terminal cancer, but the cause of death was a morphine overdose. Also under suspicion is Kate's husband, George (Hurt), a local college professor.

The story graally evolves in flashback, showing Ellen's sometimes-contentious relationship with her mother and her unswerving devotion to her father. When Kate's condition is diagnosed, George pleads with Ellen to quit her job and come home to help around the house. Apparently, George is too busy at work, Ellen's younger brother, Brian (Tom Scott Everett), is away at college, and a nurse "won't do." Somewhat resentfully, Ellen agrees to return to the nest. Soon, she finds herself losing her own identity as her mother's lifestyle swallows her up.

One True Thing is based on a novel by Anna Quindlen, and director Carl Franklin (Devil in a Blue Dress) has chosen to model the movie as a tearjerker, albeit a superior one. There are plenty of moments of sentimental melodrama (making Kleenexes a mandatory accessory), but there are also instances of surprisingly keen character insight. Although George, Kate, and Ellen start out as stereotypes, they quickly evolve beyond that baseline level. Ellen is like a wounded animal, lashing out in all directions, seeking a target. George's self-assurance is a carefully-constructed illusion. And Kate is all too aware of what's going on around her. "There's nothing that you know about your father that I don't know -- and better," she tells her daughter at one point. The relationships between these indivials are suitably complex; there are no clear-cut boundaries separating love, admiration, and resentment. And the issue of euthanasia is handled sensitively and intelligently, without the film makers getting on a pulpit to preach down to us.

it’s a very intresting topic today.
I don't have a role model now, but I probably should.
I think my Dad was my role model when I was a young child. We'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.

Every child has a good and great father, and so do I. My dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 25 years.

My father always stands in the center of my life， from past till now and possibly in the future.
My family was rather poor when I was in my childhood. We didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby， small room rented from my father's factory. The room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. I didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. This is terrible both for my parents and me.
But father made this all different！he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese,surly,I have my own room.and he takes our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
When I was little, I did everything with my dad. You could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. Every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character. Our favourite book was the 3 pigs and the big bad wolf. We would laugh forever at the funny things we made up to replace the 3 pigs and the wolf, such as bananas or oranges. My dad made me love reading.
I learnt a lot from my daddy. I learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.
Like many other fathers, my dad and I also has generation gap. He is not good at or even can’t work the computer. So when I sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’, ‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ , ‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and so on. How can I- a computer fan – rece time on computer? So I continue studying and playing on it
Years pasted, my father is over 45 now. It is time for me to look after him and I am sure I will do and we will live an even better life.

"sorry,but i don't have money…but you can pick all my apples and sell them.
so,you will have money."the boy was so excited .he grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily.the boy never came back after he picked the apples.the tree was sad.

one day,the boy returned and the tree was so excited.
"come and play with me ,"the tree said.
"i don't have time to play.i have to work for my family.we need a house for shelter.can you help me?"
"sorry,but i don't have a house .but you can chop off my branches to build your house."so the boy cut all the branches of the tree and left happily.
the tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then.
the tree was again lonely and sad.

one hot summer day,the boy returned and the tree was delighted.
"come and play with me !"the tree said.
"i am sad and getting old.iwant to go sailing to relax myself.can you give a boat?"
"use my truck to build your boat.you can sail faraway and be happy."

so the boy cut the tree truck to make a boat .he went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years.
"sorry,my boy.but i don't have anything for you anymore.no more apples for for you…“the tree said.
"i don't have teeth to bite."the boy replied.
"no more truck foe you to climb on."
"i am too old for that now."the boy said.
"i really can give you anything…the only thing left is my dying roots."the tree said with tears.
"i don't need much now,just a place to rest.i am tired after all these year" the boy replied.

this is a story of everyone. the tree is our parent. when we were young, we loved to play with mom and dad……when we grown up, we left them…only came to them when we need something or when we are in trouble.
no matter what,parents will alway be there and give everything they could to make you happy.
you may think the boy is cruel to the tree but that how all of us are treating our parent.time is too slow for those who wait,too swiftfor those who fear,too long for those who grieve,too short for those who rejoice,but for those who love,time is eternity.

看到男孩那么高兴，树非常欣慰。但是，男孩从此很久都没回来。树再一次孤独，伤心起来。

一个炎热的夏日，男孩终于回来了，树很欣慰。

“来和我玩吧！”树说。

“我过的不快乐，我也一天天变老了，我想去航海放松一下。你能给我一条船吗？”

“用我的树干造你的船吧，你就能快乐地航行到遥远的地方了。”男孩把树干砍下来，做成了一条船。

他去航海了，很长时间都没露面。

最后，过了很多年，男孩终于回来了。

“对不起，孩子，我再也没有什么东西可以给你了……”树说。

“我已经没有牙咬苹果了。”男孩回答道。

“我也没有树干让你爬了。”树说。

“我已经老得爬不动了。”男孩说。
