当然是豹子头林冲啦

大家看了《水浒传》以后，林冲有一个突出的性格特点，是什么？能忍，忍辱负重、忍气吞声、不敢反抗。一出场，这个大家要注意，要充分地理想化的话，那么一开始，写一个正面的英雄人物，一开始就要写他的优点。但是《水浒传》不一样，林冲在《水浒传》里边是个响当当的英雄，了不起，作者是热烈地歌颂他的。可是一出场就写他的弱点，写他性格里边的弱点，不好的一面，就是能忍。

你想想看，一个八十万禁军教头的军官妻子，在光天化日之下，妻子被人家调戏，奇耻大辱，不能忍受的。所以他非常气愤地去了以后，“当时林冲扳将过来，扳着他的肩胛，却认得是本官高衙内，先自手软了”。“先自手软了”这五个字非常值得注意，是一下子挖掘到人的内心世界。所以小说写林冲怒气未消，知道以后，扳过来，先自手软了。但是“怒气未消，一双眼睁着瞅那高衙内”。但是敢怒而不敢言，敢怒而不敢打，他忍下了这口气。这个小说写得非常好，因为刚刚认识鲁智深，大家好武，而且讲义气，新认识的结义兄弟。鲁智深就带着一帮泼皮来帮他打，结果鲁智深来了以后，他把高衙内放走了。

但是鲁智深就不买账，鲁智深怎么说呢？有一段话是响当当的，跟林冲形成鲜明的对比。他说“你却怕他本官太尉，洒家怕他甚”，我不怕。他说“俺若撞见那撮鸟时，且教他吃洒家三百禅杖去了。”你看，一个是忍辱怕事；一个是疾恶如仇。一个是自己受侮辱、受压迫不敢反抗；一个是看见自己的朋友受压迫，就不能忍受，这两个人的性格形成鲜明的对比。

故事一开始，矛盾一出现，就提出一个决定林冲命运的大问题。如果林冲是贪生怕死、卑鄙屈膝的小人，他会用一纸休书把娘子抖手送给高衙内，可他恰恰不是这样一个人。他和高衙内的矛盾就不可调和，不能化解，无可救药，只能一步一步激化，达到高峰。

林冲上山的过程就是从能忍到不能忍、从懦弱到坚强、从屈辱到反抗，这么一个转变过程。所谓上山就是造反的意思，就是反叛统治阶级，就是敢于起来抗争。林冲走了一个很漫长的、很艰苦的道路。作者写林冲的转变，它是有很多伏笔，大家不要忽略了。譬如说他和陆谦是好朋友、结义兄弟，但是后来陆谦害他了，那么他就曾经跟陆谦讲过，他说“贤弟不知，男子汉空有一身本事，不遇明主，屈沉在小人之下，受这般腌臜的气”。也就说，就是他在统治阶级的压迫之下，满腔不平之气。这个满腔不平之气，就是林冲能够一步一步向前迈进，最后实现了思想转变，造反上山的基础。所以你看小说写得很好，他虽然是一个八十万禁军教头，是个中级军官，但是他一出场就是被压迫的。所以虽然是统治阶级里边的人物，但是他所处的地位和广大被压迫的人民群众有相通之处，这是他能够转变的一个基础。林冲能忍，宽容了压迫他、侮辱他的人，但是他的对手可没有放过他。一计不成，又生一计。所以他非常不满的胸中，有一腔不平之气的那个对立面、那个社会的黑暗势力、罪恶势力，不断地向他紧逼而来。

所以接着就写他想苟安，忍。想苟安也不能苟安，想忍也忍不下去。所以小说接着就写高衙内又收买了陆谦，就是林冲的结义兄弟，让陆谦把林冲的妻子骗到他的家，骗到陆谦的家里面楼上，要想强暴，想侮辱。这个时候他也不加追究，只是气愤地把陆谦的家里砸了个粉碎。因为在陆谦的家里，把陆谦的家砸一个粉碎。这时候有一段描写值得注意。就写“林冲拿了一把解腕尖刀”，这个解腕尖刀很有文章的， “径直奔到樊楼，前去找陆虞侯”。找陆谦去了，他拿起这个解腕尖刀不是去找高衙内，而是去找陆谦。注意这个地方，写得非常准确、非常精彩。也就说，林冲已经开始反抗了，但是他反抗的程度和范围有限。你应该找高衙内，对不对？你怎么去找陆谦？这里边有两个意思我觉得大家要体会。第一个意思，还是怕高衙内，吃着他的请受，不敢惹他。前面说了，权且饶他这一次。这是第二次了，他又忍让了，这是第一个意思。第二个意思，这就是写林冲重义。通过这个情节，还有弦外之音，还有潜台词，就是说陆谦是我的结义兄弟，背信弃义，不讲义气的人林冲是最痛恨的。注意，讲义气是林冲性格当中非常美好的东西，很宝贵的东西。这是他以后能够转变，而且转变以后革命性非常强的一个很重要的因素。那么到了以后，他发配沧州以后，作者又一次点示我们林冲好义。就是什么呢，大家读过很熟悉的“风雪山神庙”。他到了沧州以后，正好有一个卖酒的李小二，李小二称林冲是“恩人”，而且报告他陆谦、高俅他们、高衙内派陆谦到沧州杀害他。那么李小二为什么要跟他报告呢，因为这个很冒险的、冒生命危险的，就是因为过去林冲救过他，他吃了官司以后，他帮助了他，而且给了他钱，所以他称林冲是恩人。那么这就写出了林冲的克己好义、乐于助人的这种侠义心肠、讲义气。所以后边是明点，前面有暗点，这都是写林冲思想性格转变的依据。

所以作者就是通过这么一个情节，通过林冲妻子被花花太岁高衙内看得长得漂亮，去加以调戏，这样一个情节，写出了林冲的性格。既写出了林冲的性格，又揭露了封建社会的黑暗和罪恶，统治阶级的黑暗和罪恶。这样也就揭示出来梁山起义事业为什么会逐渐发展壮大，很多人都要投奔梁山，梁山事业壮大，就是因为逼上梁山。逼上梁山在林冲的身上体现得最鲜明、最突出，走投无路了，然后才上山。但是，林冲到这个时候发配沧州以后，还是能忍，还是忍辱负重。你看小说写得非常精彩，他临走之前写了一封休书。这纸休书我觉得有两方面的内容，一方面写出林冲的善良，他替妻子考虑得很周到；另一方面也写出他能忍的性格，也天真幼稚。你以为写了一纸休书以后高衙内就不来了？照样来。所以这些地方，一方面写出他的善良，引起读者对他的同情，这样的话，读者就对于罪恶势力更加憎恨。

读到“野猪林”，记得这个情节。一路上押监他的是董超、薛霸，两个差人，一路上对他真是非常地厉害，虐待他。水也很烫的，用烫水让他洗脚，烫得非常厉害。后来走到什么地方呢？走到野猪林，就是笼罩着烟雾的野猪林，这时候受到高俅、高衙内之托付要杀害林冲的地方。到这个时候了，一点都没想到可能要杀他，你要捆就捆吧。所以你想，换成另外的人，像鲁智深也好、李逵也好，在这种情景下绝不会这样说。
然后这个时候，一路保护他的鲁智深到了野猪林，就要跳出来，跳出来以后，想把杀害他的两个人干掉。你看这个时候，林冲又出来跟他说好话。林冲的这个能忍的性格我们读者都不能忍，对他这种性格不能忍，把你迫害成这样，马上就要把你杀掉了，你还替他们说好话，这种能忍的性格，真是无以复加，简直叫我们读《水浒传》的人都不能忍。但是现在他忍了，不断地写他这种能忍的性格，同时也揭示他善良的一面。

“风雪山神庙”大家都非常熟悉的，让他管那个草料场，他以为是好差事，实际上是一场阴谋，放在那儿去准备烧死他。他去了以后是一个什么情况呢？外边下着大雪，进屋以后，他就拿起柴炭点火，生起焰火来。但是这个草棚已经坏了，风都可以刮进来，很冷，所以当时写林冲怎么想呢？怎么过冬呢？他就想等到天暖和以后，待雪停了以后，到城里边去要唤一个泥水匠来，把它修好。这是什么意思啊？这是想在这个地方好好过日子，对不对，不是凑合，想等雪停了以后，把这个草棚修好。然后就写他烤了一会儿火，烤了一会儿火以后还是冷，就想到前面那个老军指示他五里之外有一个卖酒的地方，可以去买酒喝。他因为太冷，就想到那儿去买酒。走以前，你看写这个林冲性格非常精细。把这个火炭盖了，“取毡笠子戴上，拿了钥匙，信步投东”。注意他锁门，前后两次写他锁门，这个门有什么好锁的，里面什么东西都没有，而且都破了，他还锁，林冲这个人很谨慎。然后在半路上经过一个古庙，就是山神庙，他还怎么呢？还进去顶礼膜拜，求这个神来保佑他，保佑什么呢？就是安安稳稳地过日子，都走到这步田地，简直是走投无路了，他还是这种心思、打算。然后喝完酒以后，又买了一葫芦酒，包了两块牛肉，迎着风又回到草料场。结果一看雪下得越来越大，把草厅压倒了。他这个时候想，怎么办呢？就把这个花枪，注意这个花枪，花枪、葫芦放在雪地里边，生怕那个火没有灭，伸着手从破败的墙壁伸进去摸一摸，摸到雪水已经把火完全浸灭了，他才放心。然后抱着一床破棉絮，挑着他的那只枪，挑着他的酒葫芦，然后到山神庙去。这个金圣叹读《水浒传》我劝大家好好去看看，他有的批语很精彩的，他这个地方读得很细。他就批了一句，他说：“只拿一条破絮被，说明过一夜，第二天还要回来。”他读得很细，那就是说什么呢？就是今天晚上暂时过不下去了，我到山神庙躲一个晚上，我还得回来。就是在这种情况下，还是能够忍受，还是要想平平安安地在这个地方过日子。

所以通过“风雪山神庙”，一系列的非常细腻的细节描写，揭示了林冲的内心世界。好端端的一个八十万禁军教头、一个美好的、幸福的家庭，被高俅、高衙内迫害到这种凄凄惨惨的地步，还没有想到要反抗，还要想到安安生生地过日子。你们看，作者是到无以复加之处还要加一笔。一直到草料场火起了，他听到火起的声音，想起来了。一般的人，人之常情，想到这个情况，我是看草料场的，现在草料场火起了，赶快逃跑啊，对不对？他不，他首先想到的是赶快去救火，你说林冲忍受到什么程度，善良到什么程度，他想到要去救火。我刚才讲了，亲耳听到门外陆谦他们说，这次把林冲烧死了，我要拣他的骨头去请赏。这一下子，怒气爆发出来了，打开门出去报仇，这才最后进行了转变。

所以这个细节描写，“风雪山神庙”一系列的细节，描写他的动作、他的心思、他的整个发展过程，都写得非常细。下边就是写林冲最后打开庙门出来杀人了，林冲出来以后先是举手一枪，先把那个差役杀死。作者在这个地方写林冲杀陆谦写得很细的，比那两个人要细。这就说明他不是为写杀人而写杀人，而是通过杀人写林冲思想性格的转变，写他走上革命的道路。所以他满腔的怒火、满腔的怨愤、满腔的仇恨，一下子爆发出来，是要痛痛快快地报仇。所以他对付这两个人以后，就来对付陆谦。他就大声地喝道，“好贼，你待哪里去”，往哪儿跑，“批胸只一提，就把他提起来，然后丢翻在雪地上”。这个时候小说写林冲杀陆谦写得很有讲究。他这个时候不要花枪了，他把枪拿来插在雪地上，“脚踏陆谦的胸口上”，踩在他的胸口上，然后从身边取出一口刀来。我前边讲，你们要注意这个解腕尖刀，这个时候取出来解腕尖刀在陆谦的脸上割着，先不杀他。然后发表了一篇革命的宣言。

所以林冲杀人，不是一般的杀人，是写他革命造反的革命性和正义性，他杀人杀得堂堂正正，光明磊落，写出一个英雄人物。所以这里林冲杀人写得很有讲究。有这么几点：第一，他能分清主次，主要敌人是陆谦，我先不对付你，我先把两个次要的解决了，然后集中力量来收拾主要的仇人陆谦，这是一点，能分清主次；第二，不是不明不白地就把对方杀死，而是先问罪谴责。刚才我讲的，杀得光明磊落、理直气壮，革命宣言，我为什么要杀你？你太坏了，背信弃义；第三点，就是写他杀三个人的杀法是不一样的，用的武器不一样，杀法也不一样，详略也不一样。所以总体来说，林冲杀人杀得有身份。什么叫有身份？八十万禁军教头，武艺高强，有斗争的经验。有性格，他很精细，很讲究策略。有思想，那就是为正义而杀人，不是不明不白，随随便便地去杀人。有思想，有章法，就像我们写文章一样，主次、详略都要搞清楚。哪个为主，哪个为次，哪个详、哪个略，先杀谁、后杀谁，很有章法。

你看林冲转变以后，从“火并王伦”开始，到以后，以后反对招安也是很坚决的，判若两人。他不相信宋朝天子会真心招安，对招安提出反对意见。他认为招安不过是蔡京、高俅等奸臣设下的陷阱，招安凶多吉少。但，林冲的意见没为宋江所采纳。他恼恨、痛苦、无奈，最后默默地死去。但是这种性格的巨大转变，是一步一步写出来的，令人信服，这才是有血有肉的真英雄。
