根据玛雅文明记载，人类的历史将定格于公元2012年；无独有偶，唐朝的《推背图》似乎也预言到公元2012年世界可能发生巨变。且不管有没有巨变，咱先默认一定会发生——在此基础上，从《独立日》、《哥斯拉》、《后天》的罗兰德·艾默里奇导演的角度出发，那一定是场旷世浩劫啊……其实根据前述三部的演变过程，也不难看出艾默里奇的地球的危机观已从外太空入侵、核变异威胁，转变为因生态环境破坏而造成的自然灾害。

1.洛杉矶城覆灭的部分，约翰·库萨克扮演的男主角杰克开车载着一家人朝机场逃亡的片段，公路在下沉、起伏，高架崩塌，别墅变平地，高楼倾覆，尤其是加长林肯穿过最后一栋大楼那部分，看着那慢慢变形的柱子，好莱坞的电脑特技真是太棒了！一家人在小飞机上真是经历了千难万险，到处都是飞舞的汽车，正在倒塌的高楼，以及冲下来的那列火车！太惊心动魄了！脱险后主演们遥望覆灭的洛杉矶，偌大的城市瞬间变为碎片一点一点的沉入大海。
2.接着是主演们到黄石公园找那个疯狂的家伙拿地图那段，两人站在山上，黄石的一部分平地忽然隆起，接着塌陷，45度慢旋转镜头中黄石各处喷火，样子比《活火溶城》壮观的多，整个黄石火山爆发，如同氢弹爆炸，崩起来的石块等物质就像集束炸弹一样落在主演逃亡的车周围，庆幸的是一家人平安的离开了，飞机脱险的镜头完全就是《独立日》的，哈！罗兰真会拿自己的片子.......
3.那位有钱的俄国人看着那架暴大的运输机说,俄国人造的.....朝中国飞的路上，经过夏威夷，本想下去加油....可惜整个夏威夷不存在了，全部都是火海。还有满满一飞机的好车，蓝博、保时捷等等，而且还给宾利做了个超牛的广告！飞机迫降在喜马拉雅山上那段也很惊险！
4.里约热内卢的全球最大的耶稣像崩塌、梵蒂冈的最高建筑滚向那些信徒，这个时候我也会问一句，上帝在哪呢？那艘漂亮的巨型游轮，在海啸上完全横了过去，倾覆，比《海神号》速度还快，当然海啸高度有点夸张了。美国最引以为傲的航空母舰终究还是砸向了白宫和自己的总统。
5.最后就出关于诺亚方舟的部分了，也是片子最高潮的部分，“当看到海啸漫过喜马拉雅山顶时，你会不自觉的思索，在生命的最后关头该怎么办？什么是重要的？什么是次要的？谁对你更重要？你要在生命余下不多的时间里做些什么？引用“约翰·库萨克”的话。
片中的感人镜头和美式幽默镜头很多，那些家人的最后通话，来得及的来不及的。最主要的发生在诺亚方舟基地的感人片段，我就不写过多了，简单提几个，黑人科学家的演说要求放人进方舟，阔气的俄国老拼尽全力把儿子送了上去自己却...杰克舍身回头，还有他那勇敢的儿子！不得不叫人佩服！。
再一次见识到西方人眼中动物和人的地位一样，的确。
影片结束以后我也问自己，在灾难面前，可以做到无私么？几亿人瞬间失去生命，那句该死的没死不该死的活着在这时候还重要么？谁不为那位美国黑人总统（影星丹尼·格洛弗）的壮举感动？
尽管这只是电影，在N年里不会发生，但是还是告诉我们一些道理。就像《后天》的中心思想，如果我们不爱护这颗唯一的地球，灾难真的是会发生的，那个时候就不会像电影里一样会有完美的结局。
