There have several season about the apprentice, i think it's a good show, i can learn much from it.
First, it tell me about team unity. there are two group, of course they are competitor, one team is all man and the other team is all women, also you can say it's a competition about man and women, to show who is the best of all. i can see that if they get a plan to do, they choose a leader first, and then do it together. with one goal on their mind, to win. they united together, and work very hard to achieve their goal. i think it really good.
And then this show tell me about what's about life, it's tough for everyone, because the lose side need one of their teammates leave, i know it's the most difficult time for everyone in the show, because no one willing to leave, and their have been together for a long time, they friendship is very strong. but as i said before, life is hard, things not going on as we wished, after each competition, one leaved. that's the truth. so there are another problem emerged, because the chief will ask someone who is going to leave the team, it's very hard to say that, i know. there are many difficult time for us ring the our life, we need to make a choice, even we don't want to, but it's reality. i think this show do help me understand what's about life.
The last, i want to say that, this show the positive part of people, i think it can help these people who are very pessimistic about their life get more energy. and let them know life is fair to everyone. even to these famous people, if you want to get success, you should try your best, never give up your mind, and get every advantages you can to make it. there are many things we can do, if we concentrate on it, and if we really try our best, i think we can get what we want, even we failed, at least, we got the experience. our life can be more colorful.

It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portman's face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.
I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. I'm not. But I'm glad I finally found it, because it's a wonderful film in so many other ways.

从《飞黄腾达》看人的素质2007-01-12 15:13 看完飞黄腾达后，我一直在思考，Trump选人的标准是什么，那些冠军选手为什么会被雇佣，而有些实力很强的选手为什么会却被淘汰？结合到我们现实工作上，我们应该怎么做才能得到领导的赏识和认可，才能获得成功？带着这些思考，也结合了我10年的工作经验，为这些选手做了一个素质评测分析。下面的分析属于笔者的一家之言，也希望大家来提其他的看法。老实说把这个写完后再对照自己，发现我这些年在工作中很多地方都犯了同样的毛病。
一、综合能力：这部分基本可以算是选手的简历，也就是给人的第一印象。用传统的话来说这个算是敲门砖，如果你的资历很差，那么别人不可能选择你。

3、选手工作的时间和经验阅历
学徒：从几季的选手看，冠军的学历都是很好的，现在尚无一个非大学毕业的选手拿到过冠军，可见学历和经验在当今社会的重要性。
二、领导组织能力：来参赛的选手最终是要为Trump管理一家公司，所以领导组织能力对于他们是非常重要的，这部分主要是体现在执行力度上。
1、作为领导要要给人一种强者的感觉，不能让别人轻视你的存在
2、作为领导是否能很好的倾听下属的意见，不会被下面的人认为是独断专行
3、在进行项目运作时能够合理分配工作、激励下属的士气，使其工作效率达到提高
4、能够使计划的顺利实施，仔细检查每一个环节并保障无误，即使出现了意外也能顺利处理危机
5、在领导过程中不会使下属产生对待不同的员工有偏向性的观点
学徒：笔者感觉Trump很看重项目经理是否可以让全队队员都迅速投入工作，并带领他们取得最后的成功。在第三季中Kendra在最后决赛时的表现充分体现了她的领导组织能力。
三、分析判断能力：作为领导，其分析判断能力相当重要，因为要带领团队取得胜利，那么团队的大方面是一定不能错的。我觉得这点对项目能否成功起到了关键作用，正确的方向是迈向成功的第一步。
1、对市场和客户的需求、任务的目标都有清晰的认识；
2、能找出各方面的意见的优缺点，在进行分析后制定出合理的策略；
3、能够预见到可能发生的意外情况，提前制定对应计划或能对突发情况做出合理的变化；
4、在每次项目完成后，能够正确认识到成功或失败的真正原因
学徒：在比赛中没有常胜将军，现实生活也是如此，在《学徒》中有很多人被淘汰不是因为他们组织的问题，而是因为在失败后仍然没有搞清楚为什么会输，任务中谁应该对失败负有责任。在目前的五季中，分析判断力最出色的无疑是Bill，虽然他失败次数多了点，在所有选手中的创意也算不上出色，但他对整个任务过程的认识非常到位。
四、工作能动性：这方面主要体现在你做下属时的表现，作为领导会很看重你是否容易被驾驭，如果你不易被领导，那么你能力再好也会失去很多机会。现在社会中很多人都奉行这点，少做事少出错，其实你的表现领导都会看在眼里。
1、在工作中能否积极主动的去投入工作
2、在意见与领导不一致的时候是否也能去全力的去执行（这个问题有相当的普遍性，很多公司都有这样的人，对上面的计划不认可从而影响到执行中效率）
3、可以在工作中主动的去和领导、同事沟通，而不是被动的等待
4、是否在制定计划前大胆的提出自己的创意
学徒：在任务出现后，作为队伍中的一员，是否能够挺身而出，为了获胜而尽力去付出，笔者看有相当一部分选手在这点都做的极差。其中代表性人物是第二季的Rob，在任务中只是去等到领导分配任务，没有分配时什么也不做，结果最后自己第一个出局。在后面几季中，我们仍然能看见同样的现象，拿出现在《学徒》中的选手来说，这些人都是万里挑一才选出来的精英，在这么好的机会下一些人都表现出很差的能动性，就更不要提我们身边的人了，在很多公司内，很多人在工作中都是被动的去做，而不是主动的去争取。
五、沟通表达能力：与人沟通是很重要的一点，在工作中你必须要让别人明白你要做什么，你在想什么，这也是工作效率最基本的保证。
1、具有自信和良好的语言表达能力；
2、与人交谈时少说没用的话，表达能切中要害
3、具有一定的幽默感，可以适时的缓解紧张气氛，例如用一些身体语言
4、在和别人的观点有分歧时，能够让对方感受到你对他的重视，并从对方的观点与其沟通从而解决问题
学徒：说到沟通，我觉得大多人都会觉得自己表达能力没问题，但实际情况却并非如此，很多工作都是因为双方的理解出现差异而导致工作效率降低。学徒中主要体现的是选手的谈判能力，如果能坚持自己的立场并了解到对方的意图，从而达到最终的目的。笔者不欣赏的是一些选手在会议室的无休止的争吵，其实击中别人的要害并不需要太多语言。
六、人品：很多领导都很看重员工的为人处世之道，在学徒中的人事纷争比我们平时工作生活中要厉激烈的多，在这种环境下既要做到强悍，又要保证诚实与公正确实不易。
1、在与上司和同事的交谈中，言论是否能做到公正和诚实
2、在和同事有意见分歧的时候，能否当面直言不讳的表达自己的观点而不是背后进行议论
3、能否在出现失误时主动承担自己该承担的责任，而不是推卸责任
4、在工作中不搞小圈子，去故意排挤其他人
学徒：在五个季度的《学徒》中，有不少人在被淘汰时不是因为他们的能力，而是因为他们的人品出了问题，Trump在选人时尤为看重这点。这个片子在人品展示方面做的很出色，象Troy，虽然最后失败了但获得了大多数人的赞许。又如第五季决赛前那两个女人的表演，也让我们看到了丑陋的一面。

A most cathartic experience came over me when I viewed the much publicized "United 93". At once speculative and realistic, the 111-minute film will surely bring back the pall of fatalistic inevitability one feels about 9/11, but its more defining characteristic is revealing the untapped heroism and humanism of people caught in the most malevolent of circumstances. Masterfully written and directed by Paul Greengrass, this relentlessly intense movie covers that fateful morning when United Airlines Flight 93 departed Newark for San Francisco with 33 passengers and seven crew members on board.
As it turns out, Greengrass's heavy background in documentaries turns out to be a blessing in this treatment, as he tracks the subsequent events in real time and uses either under-the-radar actors or actual aviation personnel to play the real-life characters. Instead of focusing on the higher profile passengers to provide an emotional locus, which a more commercial filmmaker would have done, he encompasses all the passengers within the emotional purview of the film, including the four hijackers who killed the pilots and took control of the plane. The key dramatic difference is that we get to know not the people but the situation at hand. Consequently, we get a more realistic sense of the scale of the events that may have occurred on that flight. That's not to say it is any less devastating. In fact, the last half-hour is harrowing in the most personal sense as the inevitable becomes reality.
The power of the film comes from its surprisingly apolitical perspective and the inclusion of the ground personnel trying to comprehend the scope of all the redirected planes that day, in particular, Ben Sliney who effectively plays himself that day, the just-promoted supervisor of the National Air Traffic Control Center in Herndon, Va. None of the actors stand out because the film cumulatively achieves a verisimilitude that simply knocks me out. The film also does not pretend to be the definitive version of what happened on the last few moments of the flight. In an emotional sense, it is rather moot as we are talking about degrees of detail at that point. This is truly essential viewing.

Zhang Yimou is considered to be one of the best directors of our time.Zhang Yimou did an excellent job as the cinematographer on the movie "Huang Tudi"(Yellow Earth),and his debut as a director on the movie "Hong Gaoliang"(Red Sorghum) won him many awards and established him as a leading member of the so-called Fifth Generation Movement of Chinese Movie-makers”.
Considering his creative camera work and direction,it must be said that Zhang is a movie genius of world stature,and the pride of Chinese movie-goers.
In interview,foreign students from 10 countries said that of all Chinese movie directors they knew only Zhang Yimou,and they mentioned such movies as "Red Sorghum", "Qiuju Da guansi"(The Story of Qiuju),and "Huozhe"(To Live)
They said they felt the tremor of life's force in "Red Sorghum",and were deeply moved by "Huozhe"(To Live)
They also had seen "Yingxiong"(Hero),but made no comment about it.
In fact,people talked mostly about the images and colors of “Hero” when discussing the movie as if they were talking about the work of the cinematographer rather than the director .
I have long been following Zhang's film-making career and as I watched "Shimian maifu"(House of Flying Daggers)I felt a sudden burst of sympathy for him--the sympathy one feels for a hero at the end of a movie.I then recalled the rain that poured on the night of celebration and the sudden blizzard that descended when the cast and crew were filming the movie in the Ukraine.I couldn't help wondering if Zhang Yimou had shown us a glimpse of the retreating form of a tragic hero.
"House of Flying Daggers" has been bombarded with criticism in both the media and online BBS discussion forums since its release in China , many viewers have expressed great dissastifaction with the movie.
The criticism mirrors the difficulty caused by the commercialization of the movie instry in China.When Zhang Yimou and other Fifth-Generation directors first began making movies they rebelled against making commercial movies,openly rejecting conventional movie notions of story-telling and character development.
Their movie-making style gave the group of Fifth-Generation directors fame and glory.Zhang Yimou and Chen Kaige were the two directors who gained fame ,but in recent years they have unknowingly or unconsciously abandoned their previous styles in favour of the traditional storytelling movies.
Perhaps Zhang Yimou back in the days when he was making "Red sorghum" never realized that some day he would be getting into commercial movie making.
After making of "Yige dou buneng shao "(Not One Less) and "Xingfu shiguang" (Happy Times),Zhang Yimou became commercial.
Zhang's reputation as a Fifth-Generation director no longer protect him and his “surrender” to commercial cinema could be seen as a self-imposed challenge.
The Chinese movie instry can only succeed with commercial movies. Zhang's foray into this form of movie-making is a reflection of some directors' renunciation of their former mode of filming.Zhang Yimou is marching in the vanguard and setting an example.His success or failure should serve as a warning to us that Making a commercial movie is not as easy as we think it is.

In his own way, director Brad Bird, who wrote the script with Damon Lindelof from a story they cooked up with Jeff Jensen, has made a counter-present culture work that amplifies and synthesizes impulses that have driven at least some of his previous films. In Iron Giant and The Incredibles, he explicitly used his fondness for post-World War II sci-fi and fantasy as a motivating point for his massively entertaining but also thoughtful appreciation of the positive, can-do ethos of the period. The evil came from the forces that would thwart the sky’s-the-limit achievement of the world’s best, brightest and right-minded, and frustration with those who would impede excellence and forward-thinking on all fronts is the sentiment that grumbles and groans beneath the shiny surfaces of Tomorrowland.
