1、婚姻

维吾尔族过去曾盛行包办婚姻，现在自由恋爱较为普遍。婚前，男方必须向女方交财礼。维吾尔族婚礼由阿訇主持。首先要念“尼卡”确立夫妻关系。“尼卡”仪式结束后，要举行婚宴，招待各自的亲戚、好友与同事。
