《阿甘正傳》觀後感
To be honest, this is the first time I ever write a review of a movie. And this beginning is a tough one—with an Oscar winner as its subject, surrounding which there is considerably controversy over the values it has questioned, the thoughts it tried to implicitly convey, and the art of the movie itself.
The following discussion will go on as a dissection of this movie into several aspects. This dissection is, however, necessarily incomprehensive, and I would just try to make it a original review in the eyes of a busy, yet inspirational student of science who, from time to time, glances at the palace of arts with admiration and, more importantly, love.
Forrest Gump> Film review
Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower IQ and the muscle problem, usually, people always think this kind of person can』t be successful in doing anything. "GONE WITH THE WIND" was a mad dream in procer David Selznick's brain and he turned it into one of the great soap operas of cinema history. The last re-release celebrated the film's 50th anniversary in 1989. This time, the three-hour and 42-minute epic has been remastered in digital sound and the color has been tinkered with to bring back the original Technicolor glory.
The movie plays its role in movie history, becoming one of the great box-office performers in the pre-Steven Spielberg and George Lucas days. The search to find Selznick's ideal Scarlett O'Hara, the willful Southern belle who would destroy several Southern gentlemen in pursuit of the man she loved but who didn't love her, was the talk of Hollywood.
Bette Davis, Paulette Goddard, Jennifer Jones, Katharine Hepburn and many others failed to capture the showcase role that would go to British stage actress and girlfriend of Laurence Olivier, Vivien Leigh.
The sexual tension and humorous byplay between Leigh and co-star Clark Gable, in the role of gentleman rogue Rhett Butler, was riveting. And so was Leigh's portrayal of a viper trying to consume the good-hearted Ashley Wilkes, embodied by the fine-boned Hungarian-turned-British actor, Leslie Howard.
Victor Fleming was the accredited director of the picture, and he won the best-director Academy Award for it, but George Cukor worked on "Gone With the Wind" (he was fired after 10 days into filming), and so did many others. Selznick was as hands-on a procer as ever there was, so his imprint is seared in the final proct. Selznick is said to have used 15 writers but to have written and directed key scenes himself.
Although the picture is responsible for fostering many unpleasant racial biases in its depiction of the slaves working at Tara, the O'Hara estate, and Twelve Oaks, the Wilkes' place, the movie also has the virtue of featuring some of the great black performers of the time, including the memorable Hattie McDaniel.
Some of the wonderful scenes to look for include Scarlett's throwing herself at the polite Ashley and then learning that Rhett has heard the whole embarrassing thing, the burning of Atlanta, the sequence leading to the birth of Melanie's child and Scarlett's plucky seamstress work with the drapes.
If you've never seen this on the big screen, you are in for a treat.

I have always been and always will be a die-hard fan of the King Arthur stories. My family is from that area of that area of the world, so there is some deep-seated calling to it.
However, I tire greatly over the focus of the Arthur-Guenivere-Lancelot plot being the entire focus or one of the main focuses of the movie. I especially enjoyed that those character relations were subtle undertones. In that way for Aurthur-lovers you can see, "Ohh... I know what's going on there!" My favorite part, as with the Mists of Avalon, was how they meshed the Christian faith of Rome with the pagan beliefs of the knights and the people in the country. This is a remarkable depiction of how it would have been like for Christian Rome to be attempting to convert the pagan--and the relations there were remarkable, I thought.
The translation of the aloof romantic story we all know to a more down-to-earth version was amazing. In every other version we see, it's all about what's going on within the personal lives of the characters, but one of the reasons Arthur and his knights are still in our minds is because they did great things for the world, and I thought it a crime to not focus on that.
Clive Owen and Kiera Knightly were a weird pair, I admit. One is flawlessly gorgeous and the other you have to sit and think for a second before you realize he is a hottie too. There were times when I knew what was going on, but didn't really understand the character's motivations behind it, but when you hit the final scene and realize what's been done here, you feel a smile break out on your face.
At this point, if a studio is going to do something about King Arthur, it's not really about being historically or politically correct--it's about doing something that hasn't been done before, and I think that they hit the nail on the head.

The Scar of History- Nanking
Frankly speaking, I almost have no idea about what a movie truly described, even though, I really like watching movies. I watched lots movies, but I remembered rarely. Some people may say that』s all right or that』s happened, yes, that』s happened. What should I care? If you are totally impressed by a movie, I think the movie will deeply insert in your heart and touch your spirit with a strange magic which will give you some different feelings, just like happiness, sweet, free, or even some pain, depressed, anger, and crazy. Just because those feelings you got, how can you forget them?
Iris Chang--The Rape of Nanking is such a documentary film that impressed me so deeply. I don』t know whether you have been watched it? Just like me. I don』t know whether you have the feelings just like I have. Iris Chang--The Rape of Nanking, this movie was based on a book named The Rape of Nanking written by Zhang Chunru, a Chinese American, who was the first person written the rape of Nanking in English. In other words, we can say that this movie is talking about Zhang Chunru and how can she finished her book The Rape of Nanking. This was a road with lots incredible experiences and made me really depressed with shaking.
At the beginning of this film, the sea waved beat the beach again and again, as like the story of history knock on our mind and want tell us her sadness, blood, tears, and remind us some things. As Iris Chang said, people all around the world knew massacre made by Nazi, in the contrast, human rarely knew that a merciless massacre took place in Nanking, China made by Japanese. At the very start, Iris Chang knew a few about this terrible event. With the passage of time, she grew up and she realized she had no choice that she must do something to let people know this event. Some old movies, old pictures appeared crossed with the modern society, which make you feel brightly shock to your eyes. With the old picture and the modern picture crossed that makes me feel like I was close with the event. With some different kinds of materials appeared before my eyes, it made the event more reality, I realized that Iris Chang suffered a lot of pain.
During she collected materials about the rape of Nanking, she worked hard. Given this circumstance, a lot times she couldn』t help crying, was almost breakdown. Even though, she didn』t stop, she kept going. With a journey to Nanking city, she felt it is an emergency thing which she should do as quickly as she can to show the Nanking massacre around the world. In Nanking, she visited a lot people who were survivals in the Nanking massacre. The survival』s telling was an extremely shocking, from their eyes, from the dearest relatives who were killed by the Japanese soldiers, and from the merciless scar on their flawed body that you couldn』t imagine how horrible humiliations they suffered. This was the eternal scar and pain branded in their hearts.
With this in mind, sometimes I had a badly feeling that I was depressed, I breathe hardly, I almost throw up, and I』m in totally anger. During that moment, there were several heroes who gave some Nanking citizens a hand. Even though, the Japanese soldiers without humanistic, they made an array of terrible activities treat Chinese people. The beast killed Chinese people as recreational activities. They raped Chinese women (from 14 years old to 80 years old) and killed them with some unbelievable ways. Japanese soldiers killed little babies with their bayonet, and throw them away. They are just little babies, can you imagine that? Iris Chang said, sometimes she supposed that if she was born in that time, in the Nanking city, she maybe one of the dead people lay on the road where was filled with blood and dead bodies. In the night, when she was settling with the evidences, she sometimes appeared with convulsion and hardly stopped it, just shaking. Graally, when she combed her hairs, her hair dropped piece by piece. At that time, she was in a dark mood with heavy stress. Her parents asked her 「should you continuous to write this book?」 She replied, 「Contrast with the survivals go through, mine undergo is nothing. I had to finish this book.」 What were really bitterly disappointed to Iris were the people who pass up the facts. In the modern society there are still many Japanese Who deny the Nanking massacre. They want to wipe out this history. Furthermore, they do not want to charge with their guilt. Those ridiculous thoughts hit Iris Chang』s faith which was 「human』s nature is virtuous」. When I watch the period which filmed a modern Japanese citizen who denied the Nanking massacre was made by Japan, in contrast, he thought that this entire event was totally played by the Chinese government. The unbelievable cruel pictures and the foreigners』 evidences was not real, they just arranged by Chinese government. How ridiculous he was! How can he think like this? Such an asshole! Go to hell! You are such a beast! History father will break you down! I was abusing those people who were dare not express the fact—out of fear, out of anxiety, out of their nation. I cried, what does the tear mean? The tears meant what? Meaning Nanking Massacre, meaning the dead people, meaning Iris Chang, or meaning the pain of the history?
「Just a little child, they took it all away, your blood, your life, your trust, your faith, you died, reborn in pain….」 This song appeared when Iris Chang was in badly sadness ring she read or meat the actual distressed things. Iris Chang cried with her twittered body, she took the pain as her own. When I heard this song, my nose twitched and I began to weep. With a long silence, I dry my tears. This song really moved me, 「I』ll give voice to the voiceless (silenced for too long), crying out for justice (silenced for too long), trust me with your pain, I』ll take it as my own, I』ll fight to get the truth told, my weapon is my word.」 Iris Chang was such a young lady in her most glorious age with artistic talent. She can have an amazing future, she can have more children, she can stroll around the park with her husband, and she can be happier, but all of this just can be with her left. After she finished the book Iris Chang – the Rape of Nanking, she was completely succeeded. She brought a large effect among the North America. But several years later, after a depressive episode resulting from a nervous breakdown, she took her own life. I think she was completely put herself into suffer. She was stranded by the miserable stories. With the deepest she sank into and the unbelievable pain she faced, how can she stand it? Only when a person who really cared about a thing, they will took it as their own part, just like Iris Chang. If it works, I hope that Iris Chang was still alive, and use her words to let more people know the truth of history, bring the real justice to the world.
With time goes on, a lot of changes emerge in the modern society. The scar of history doesn』t disappear, they are just there, and to remind human beings doesn』t repeat the tragic event. Only when people realized it, they will not let these things happened in their country, their area, and their city. We need the real justice and we need more voice to the voiceless. Just like the lyrics sing 「it』s done, the page』s filled, with blood and tears, not in vain, the world will finally hear, I gave voice to the voiceless, now I』m silencing my own, what I』ve left behind, remember, in you, my spirit lives on, find my light, pass it on.」 I hope tomorrow will be better!
你可以把電影名字(Iris Chang – the Rape of Nanking)改一改,再加上自己的想法。祝你好運

This is a masterpiece. A timeless masterpiece. Initially, I didn't like this film all that much - I found it rather over-hyped and boring. This was until the advent of DVD, which gave me the feature I needed for this sort of film: subtitles. Once I switched them on and heard (read) every last word of Brando's ramblings and other characters ramblings, I grew a true appreciation for this epic.
To make a true epic, you need all of three following ingredients working in near perfect harmony. For screenwriters who come across this, take the following pointers on board: 1) Contrasting Characters: Good films have some character distinction, but most fall rather flat because the core of each character is the same.
Of course, there are exceptions to rule (ie... where you want mono-tonal characters... aka matrix; or where you want outlandish contrasts... aka The Fifth Element), but ultimately, this is what makes films deep, meaningful and grand. Consider the contrasts between the Don's children. Michael is rather cool, rational and collected, whereas Sonny is more hot-headed, spontaneous and simple minded. But simply having these contrasts is not nearly enough. What you really need to do is to develop these characters - place them in situations - and then dwell on how their character impacts on the situation they're put in. The Godfather is a terrific example of how to pull this off. While many try to do this in screenplays, most lose the plot and create character obscurities that stretch credibility.
2) Transformation: The central character(s) must undergo a transformation, resulting in them being almost unrecognizable by the end of the film. By putting them into situations, the character's character must not only influence the outcome of the situation; it must also have a lasting impact on the character. Consider Michael at the wedding and compare that to the Michael we see at the end of the film. Again, many films try, but most fail because they come up with unreal (literally, not praisingly) or simply moronic transformations (eg, Wall Street).
3) Patience: Men in Black 2 was an astounding film for one simple reason - it was an entire film squashed into about 70 minutes. It was not much longer than an episode of ER or Buffy. I certainly hope the new goal of Hollywood isn't to make films as short as possible.
All the great ones spend time - time developing characters, family life, growth, patience with the story telling in general. This is the key (provided that the story isn't mind-numbingly boring). Dances with Wolves, Heat.. and so on are very patient but top-class films. While studios may be lukewarm on the idea of longer films, they are worth it if you have a ripper story to base it on.
I feel that this film has not dated all that much and has tremendous re-watch-ability.
㈧ 美國電影《阿甘正傳》的英語觀後感不可以超過1000字急
When I first saw this movie I didn't appreciate it like I do now. Because I was so young that I didn』t get the main idea when I first saw it. Just recently I saw the movie again.
What an amazing and moving story. That movie teaches you so much about life and the meaning of it. That life isn't as bad as most people feel. Forrest Gump, the innocent man can impact so many lives with his innocence. The meaning of the movie to me is that everyone needs to have a better outlook on life. That we need to appreciate more of the little things and not let the big things hold us back. Although life may throw us trials and tribulations like a box of chocolates, we just have to bite into it and get through it even if we don't like it.
I just love this movie. And anyone who hasn't seen it or who thinks that don't like it I seriously suggest seeing it or seeing it again. It truly is amazing...
