The prisoners in that situation are more sensitive to freedom than people in other situations. When they lost it, they found that it was so necessary to them that they looked forward to regaining it. By contrast, the people lived in the political society were interested in courting the fame and gain. They lost most of their inherent character. They put their soul into the fence of their own. They gave up the freedom of thinking. They forgot their original dream. The demands of the spirit were materialized to a position or some numbers.

A prisoner spent almost all the life in the prison. When he got the parole, which was applied for many years but without reply, he didn』t feel happy, but sad. He wanted to go to the prison again. He wanted to live in the place he knew. In the prison, he was a key who had knowledge and position. But when he went out of the prison, he found he was only an old man without anything. He couldn』t finish his work quickly because his hands had suffered the arthritis. Unfortunately, he even had no power to struggle. As a result, He chose to suicide because it was the only thing he could do by himself.

Red was a superman in the prison. He could find things that weren』t in the prison at all. But when he went out of the prison, he could do nothing. He lived in the fear and felt so lonely. He loved freedom but he couldn』t realize his value. In this film, Red said, 「Hope is a dangerous thing. Drive a man insane. Nothing will take place here. You』d better get used to the idea. These walls here are kinds of funny. At the beginning, you hate them, then you will get used to them. As time passes, you will depend on them. That's institutionalizing.」

In this film, Andy as the symbol of the hope lived in the prison for 20 years. He remained his dream all the time. On one hand, he looked forward to getting freedom. On the other hand, he believed that he was innocent of the murder. The real reason was his profound thought about hope. In his opinion, hope is a good thing, maybe the best thing, and no good things ever die. It makes a strong man save himself, and a great man save another one. According to this idea, the life in prison for 20 years did not made Andy give up the hope, but made him comprehend the meaning of the life. In fact, hope is a mood without ambition but it really exists.

This film was absolutely amazing. I have spent hours re-watching various scenes and noticing all the perfection with which they are acted and directed. It's not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...), but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leon's door. It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portman's face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.

I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. I'm not. But I'm glad I finally found it, because it's a wonderful film in so many other ways.

『柒』 高分求十二月的男孩英文觀後感......

A Nutshell Review: December Boys, 10 November 2007

The buzz for December Boys surely points to how Daniel Radcliffe will fare sans cloak, glasses and lightning bolt scar on his forehead, to star in a movie that's totally out of the Harry Potter franchise. Gone are the fantastical elements and scores of ready, adoring fans, and in comes a serious dramatic piece about the coming of age, growing up, and raging hormones. Wait, Harry Potter is about that too doesn't it, although it stretches over 7 movies? But Radcliffe comes through unscathed, and it's not before long that you'd forget that here's Harry Potter. While possibly the biggest recognizable name on the cast list, it wasn't a walkover performance as everyone else had raised their act and not allow a young starlet usurp the strength of the movie. Based on a novel by Michael Noonan, December Boys tells the story of 4 orphans, all being born in the month of December, who were sent packing to a seaside village for a vacation, by virtue that it's a reward sent to the orphanage, and what better (lazier?) way to select the lucky few, than the ones celebrating their birthdays the same month.

So we have Maps (Radcliffe), Misty (Lee Cormie), Sparks (Christian Byers) and Spit (James Fraser) sent on a journey that will test their close friendship, and as usual, each will come face to face with their indivial challenge that will forever change their lives. Gee, I sound like a generic trailer, but trust me, although the premise might sound cliché, December Boys hinges very heavily on the delivery of the child actors for its success. While the spotlight might be on Radcliffe and Cormie, Byers and Fraser each have their own charm, but are restrained by the frequency of their characters' on-screen appearance. The landscape of Kangaroo Island adds vast scale to this relatively small movie, opening our eyes to natural geographical wonders, becoming a character in itself, with its inhabitants mere players on its grounds.

While it's not Stand By Me, there's the usual basis that lurks around begging for comparisons. And worse, the story here allows for each of them to try and go one leg up on the other, as they learn that one of the purposes they are there at the village, was to allow for one of them to be selected for adoption. Hence the competition amongst the boys as they vie for attention, putting on their best behaviour, most contrary to what their actual characters are like. Each child however, have an episode directed around him, to similarly allow the audience to pick their preferred sub plots, involving a giant fish, a misunderstood motorcycle stuntman, dealing with mortality issues when their surrogate guardian has to battle disease, and of course, saving the best for last and for Radcliffe, first love, in the form of a young lolita Lucy (Teresa Palmer).

Soon, their hot blooded young boy antics and rebellious streaks give way to a tone of seriousness, and there's where the movie adds its poignant gravitas. December Boys might not seem much from the get go, but with each passing minute, it adds layers upon layers to build its repertoire and stand up against the scrutiny of mediocrity. By the time the final scene rolls by, even though it doesn't show much and does so mostly through narration, I thought the ending was perfect, with a tinge of regret, happiness, sorrow, and a show of solidarity all rolled into one.

有些電影不需要明星，不需要效果，不需要3D。但它卻是最完美的。
今天，我看了一部電影，原本猶豫不決的我打算看別的，不過《奇跡男孩》這個名字深深地吸引了我，雖然評分不是最高的，看之前我也有點小不滿：為什麼不看別的電影呢。我開始有點後悔。
但，是我想錯了，你瞧；我身旁的媽媽幾乎看所有電影都昏昏欲睡，這次她卻不是，目不轉睛的看著，又被情節打動地留下了行行淚水。
沒錯，這部電影是我從小到大看過最好看的，沒有五花八門的特效，但是我覺得這部改編自小說的電影有著真摯的情感，給人一種真實的感覺。
這里有友情、親情，也十分溫馨，很容易讓我把自己的現實聯系起來：主人公是一個看似普普通通的小男孩，但為什麼是奇跡男孩呢，讓人不解。原來，他的出生很特別，因為基因關系，做了好幾次手術才讓他變得像正常人一樣能呼吸、看見，但他面相與常人不同、非常奇怪。但他的家人從來不這么覺得，她的姐姐本來就想要一個弟弟，從那時候出生起就很開心，爸爸媽媽也圍著他轉，從來就不覺得他不好。他的自卑讓他戴上了一個宇航帽，從小都是他的博士媽媽在家教他學習，到了五年級他就該上學了，所以要摘下頭盔才可以。
雖然大家對他有歧視，都用異樣的眼光看著他，但是他憑借才智出色表現，還是交到了很多好朋友，他們的友情經過很多磨練，但最終小男孩還是理解了他，友情變得很堅韌，當困難來臨時，大家團結在了一起度過了。當那幾個身影站在河邊時，我覺得，友情的力量真偉大，大家相互理解；那時，誰也不會怪罪、嫌棄誰。
最終，起初被大家歧視的小男孩，得到了全部人一致肯定，在畢業典禮上得到了嘉獎。
我被這部電影打動了，它告訴我要好好珍惜身邊朋友，學會理解他人，以寬容、仁愛的眼光看待一切。這讓我想起了老師講過的故事：一個醫生與病人約好手術，卻遲到了，病人家屬就責怪他，孰不知他的兒子剛因車禍身亡。
朋友同學之間就應該好好相處，珍惜為數不多的時光，發生了矛盾也要相互理解、不能一味地責怪對方。這部電影教會我的道理一定會讓我刻骨銘心。

My opinions:
I like this film because its fight scenes are great and the animation in Spider-man is impressive, especially the part of Spider-man flying in the sky, it looks realistic. The music in Spider-man made me feel excited. However, the part about the love between Peter Parker and Mary Jane is quite boring. Besides, I like the story of the film, it is outstanding and teaches me 「With great power comes great responsibility.」 We have our own responsibilities in our life and now, my responsibility is to work hard.

The film starts a panda named Po (voice of Jack Black), who is so fat he can barely get out of bed. He works for his father, Mr. Ping (James Hong) in a noodle shop, which features Ping's legendary Secret Ingredient. How Ping, apparently a stork or other billed member of the avian family, fathered a panda is a mystery, not least to Po, but then the movie is filled with a wide variety of creatures who don't much seem to notice their differences.

They live in the beautiful Valley of Peace with an ancient temple towering overhead, up zillions of steps, which the pudgy Po can barely climb. But climb them he does, dragging a noodle wagon, because all the people of the valley have gathered up there to witness the choosing of the Dragon Warrior, who will engage the dreaded Tai Lung (Ian McShane) in kung-fu combat. Five contenders have been selected, the "Furious Five": Monkey (Jackie Chan), Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Crane (David Cross). Tigress looks like she might be able to do some serious damage, but the others are less than impressive. Mantis in particular seems to weigh about an ounce, tops. All five have been trained (for nearly forever, I gather) by the wise Shifu, who with Dustin Hoffman's voice is one of the more dimensional characters in a story that doesn't give the others a lot of depth. Anyway, it's up to the temple master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim), an ancient turtle, to make the final selection, and he chooses -- yes, he chooses the hapless and pudgy Po.

The story then becomes essentially a series of action sequences, somewhat undermined by the fact that the combatants seem unable to be hurt, even if they fall from dizzying heights and crack stones open with their heads. There's an extended combat with Tai Lung on a disintegrating suspension bridge (haven't we seen that before?), hand-to-hand-to-tail combat with Po and Tai Lung, and upstaging everything, an energetic competition over a single mpling.

"Kung Fu Panda" is not one of the great recent animated films. The story is way too predictable, and truth to tell, Po himself didn't overwhelm me with his charisma. But it's elegantly drawn, the action sequences are packed with energy, and it's short enough that older viewers will be forgiving. For the kids, of course, all this stuff is much of a muchness, and here they go again.

英文電影:阿甘正傳觀後感（中英文對照）
阿甘有自己的堅持，他不斷地跑步，JUST RUNS. 他跑步不為任何理由。他說:"人要往前看，千萬不要被過去拖累。我想我跑步就是這個意義」和過去告別，不停留在原處。也許這世界上太多人隨撥逐流，很少人會堅持做一件事，阿甘堅持自己的堅持，於是他成了「神」。影片中還有一位主要人物是上校丹。他在越南戰爭中失去了雙腿。他說他的命運就是戰死。然而阿甘卻救他，讓他活了下來。失去雙腿後他開始憎恨生活，生活得很頹廢，責怪阿甘當初救了他。然而當他調整心態，去和阿甘一起捕魚生活，有了收獲後，開始感覺到生活的美好。感謝阿甘當初就了他。影片試圖通過這個角色告訴觀者生活總是美好的。烏雲後有彩虹，絕境後有重生。關鍵是看我們給不給自己一個好心態，一個機會去改變不好的現狀。影片試圖向觀者傳達這樣一個信息：或許做好我們該做的每一件事，生活就會給我們一個好的回饋。只要有一種堅持就會出現一個奇跡。

I thank that's the meaning of my running.」 Say goodbye to foretime and don't stay in-place. Although so many people in the world are used to follow others and few people can stick to one thing, Mr. A Gan does and becomes 「GOD」. There is another character Captain Dan. Dan lost his legs in Vietnarm War. He said that his fate is death in war. However, Mr. A Gan saved him and let him be alive. After losing legs, Dan was decadent and disgusted with life, complaining that A

Gan shouldn't save him. When he adjusted his mind, living on fishing with A Gan, he started to enjoy the wonderful life and thank A Gan's help. The movie is intended to tell people that life is wonderful by this character. Rainbow is always after cloud. The key point is that whether we have a good mind and an opportunity to ourselves to change bad situation. The movie is also sent such a message to us: do well what we should do, and life will return us well. There will be a miracle if only there is perseverance.

看完電影《gong with the wind》，我很為瑞德這個人物形象所感動。瑞德倜儻瀟灑，魅力無窮，而且幽默風趣，堅強勇敢，他富有，又尊重女性，對愛情矢志不渝。他又是一位獨具慧眼，又敏銳洞察力和自製力的人，而且有自己的行事准則。他就象無邊的大海，就象茂密的森林，可以讓女性依偎。斯佳麗結識瑞德後結過兩次婚，瑞德對她的初衷卻一直沒有絲毫改變，這樣的戀愛態度令受我感到吃驚。米切爾給了瑞德博大的胸懷，他寬容別人的錯誤，始終尊重別人的權利。在他心裡，男女是完全平等的。我不知道還有什麼樣的男性比這個形象更加完美了。

喜劇動物片 101真狗

my personal favorite "101D" medium is Disney's "101 Dalmatians: the Series". It combines many themes of the existing material (Dodie Smith book, 1961 and 1996 movies). But still does its own things, too.

Our main pups include brave Lucky, who gets a strong personality mirroring his character in the book, lovable Rolly, the gourmand of the pups, and sweet little Cadpig, who is the true runt of the litter. Also there is Spot the chicken, who longs to be a dog. I find them all extremely amiable and enjoyable to watch. They are usually foiling Cruella's schemes for their land, or outwitting Lt. Pug (I'll get to him later), or sneaking into Grutely, or...just having fun, making a very likable show.
