In winter I watch three movies.

The first movie is called 『Barbie and the Three Musketeers』.

I watched this movie just two hours ago. Actually this is an old movie for me, but this is my favorite movie in a series of 『Barbie movies』.

Corinne is a girl who grows in the village. Her father is a musketeer. She dreams that she can be a musketeer all the time. Corinne』s parents let her go to Paris to be a musketeer when she is seventeen. Then seventeen-year-old Corinne goes to Paris with her little cat, Miette. But everyone says girls couldn』t be musketeers. Nobody helps her. Although she gets into trouble on the first day, she still remembers what she dreams. Later she meets three girls who also want to be musketeers. They practice every day. The girls once find by accident that the prince regent wants to kill the prince because he wants to be the king. Finally they save the prince』s life in their way. Because of it, Corinne and her friends become musketeers.

I love this movie especially the leading character, Corinne. Corinne is one of the bravest girls I ever see in the movies. She always holds fast to her dream though no one believes girls could be musketeers. As her father said, 『True courage is pursuing your dream even though everybody else says it』s impossible.』 It is always true in life. Many successful people make their dreams come true by persistence and pursuit. You can certainly succeed so long as you pursue your own dream.

Also, Corinne and her friends were very brave and united when they face the trouble. They prove that they could be musketeers with strength and courage. 『All for one, and one for all!』 they said. That』s why the girls could save the prince smoothly.

The second movie is called 『Barbie Princess Charm School』.

In this movie, Barbie acts a girl named Blair.

In fact Blair』s real name is Sophia. She is a princess who was abandoned seventeen years ago, because her biological mother, Queen Isabella and her family died in a car crash except Sophia. Then baby Sophia was found outdoors by a kind woman. The woman named the baby princess 『Blair』. Seventeen years later, by accident Blair becomes a lucky dog of Princess Charm School. It means she can study in this school. In the school there is a princess called Delancey. Delancey looks down on Blair because Blair is not a princess. Because of Princess Sophia was missing, Delancey is going to take over the Kingdom. Afterwards Blair kno

ws her identity accidentally. She stops Delancey at last and shows the fact to everyone.

Blair is a brave and optimistic girl. She dares to stop Delancey although Delancey is blue blood. Blair believes that every girl can be a princess because character is more important than a crown. It is because of her character, Blair changes from a regular girl to a noble princess.

The third movie is called 『Alvin and the Chipmunks2』.

This movie is the most awesome American movie I have ever seen.

The chipmunks called Alvin, Simon and Theodore are three famous rock stars. Alvin once hurts Dave by accident at a concert. So Dave has to stay at the hospital. So Tobey, a big boy takes care of them. Three chipmunks go to school on the second day. Some boys invite Alvin to join the school football team and Alvin says yes. Later three female chipmunks called Britney, Jitney and Eleanor go to see Ian and sing to him. Ian becomes the female chipmunks』 broker. The chipmunks and the female chipmunks have a contest at school and female chipmunks win. They can take part in a singing contest on behalf of the school. But Ian wants them to take part in another contest. So Ian closes them in a cage. Alvin takes them out. Finally the chipmunks and the female chipmunks sing in the contest together.

This movie is very funny. When I was sad, I always watch this movie to make me happy. I like the chipmunk named Theodore best because he is the youngest chipmunk in them. He usually makes mistakes. His mistakes always make me laugh. Also Theodore is the cutest chipmunks in them.

My feeling of the film Notting Hill

It』s an old film which showed us a romantic love story. After watching it, I have some feelings to share.

Firstly, I think it』s far away from our real world. At least, I never thought I can have such an opportunity to be with a famous star. It is just like a dream. Because they are in different classes. Maybe they cannot share common interests and topics. Their life styles and friends can be different as well. However, it just happened in the film, maybe it is the reason why this film is so attractive and popular. After all, art comes from our lives and higher than lives. But I still insist that equal status as well as perfect match is really significant. Secondly, that two guys, Anna and William, they fall in love at the first sight, which impressed me a lot. After losing legs, Dan was decadent and disgusted with life, complaining that A Gan shouldn't save him. When he adjusted his mind, living on fishing with A Gan, he started to enjoy the wonderful life and thank A Gan's help. The movie is intended to tell people that life is wonderful by this character. Rainbow is always after cloud. The key point is that whether we have a good mind and an opportunity to ourselves to change bad situation. The movie is also sent such a message to us: do well what we should do, and life will return us well. There will be a miracle if only there is perseverance.

Ice Age 冰河世紀 英語影評

It』s not particularly surprising to be disappointed by any computer-animated film not bearing the Pixar logo. In fact, until Shrek, 2001』s rollicking success, I wouldn』t have even believed it could happen. What is surprising, is that Ice Age doesn』t even ATTEMPT to reach Pixar』s Toy Story heights, apparently content to revel in its status a Monster』s, Inc.'s second rate, half wit cousin.

Ice Age is yet another 「extinction for kids」 movie, one of many in a long line of baby dinosaurs, pterodactyl eggs, and sympathetic cavemen. This time, it』s the ice age, and wooly mammoths roam the earth alongside primitive man. Strangely enough, in this early world, animals can talk, and humans cannot. But when a group of would-be-enemies discover a lost human baby, wooly mammoth (Ray Romano), saber-toothed tiger (Dennis Leary), and giant sloth (John Leguizamo) must work along side each other in a journey to return the child to its home.

Visually, Ice Age is perhaps the poorest bit of CGI I have ever seen. Contrasted to the beautiful constructs of Monsters, Inc.; or even the gooey, gloppy creativity of Shrek; Ice Age is nothing but badly rendered polygons and Acme animated characters. No hint of photo-realism here. It』s like comparing a Bugs Bunny Cartoon to The Lion King. Actually, I suspect that is exactly what the folks at Ice Age were going for.

Ice Age is really little more than a collection of silly animal gags and Leguizamo one liners. Some of them are even quite funny. If that is all that we』re going for here, then I suppose I』m all for it. But then there are these strange attempts at gut wrenching sappiness, which fall painfully flat amidst sub-video game animation. Frankly, I』m not even sure the CGI they use here is up to the

task of displaying the kinds of emotions these people are trying to illicit from their characters. The humans more closely resemble totem poles than they do living, breathing, creatures. It』s laughable watching their polygon-limited faces trying to emote in response to the story』s attempts at heartfelt, soft touches.

Thankfully, the main characters are animals, which are at least bearably rendered to slapstick fun levels. As a result, what slapstick there is, is highly entertaining. Sure, Ray Romano』s vocal talents aren』t particularly spectacular. But Dennis Leary and the always-odd John Leguizamo cover for his mammoth ineptitude without hesitation.

The story itself is bland, boring, and uninspired, as is the almost laughably bad animation. The film』s only real saving graces are some slapstick side trips into the world of an unlucky squirrel and a group of soon-to-be-extinct melon-hoarding dodos. Ice Age』s comedy is worthy of Bugs, but unless you』re under 5, you』ll be bored with everything else.

《冒牌天神2》觀後感:

This should've gone straight to video. Evan Almighty was not able to manage the expectations of those who came to see it anticipating as riotous a ride as its predecessor Bruce Almighty. It retained the premise of the original as a spin-off but it doesn't work not because Steve Carell is less talented than Jim Carrey but because he had lousy material to work with. Even Morgan Freeman (who reprises his role as God) lost the zing and impressive qualities he had in the first installment.

Evan Almighty apparently targets a family audience with its decidedly more religious overtones (check out what ARK really means), so it shouldn't have attempted to fool the audience by maintaining the Almighty franchise because it doesn't fit; its brand of humor and story simply failed to keep up.

It would've probably done better if it were marketed differently instead of lazily riding on the success of Bruce Almighty when it painfully couldn't deliver the same punches.

Carl is only a clerk in FBI. He sticked to the regulations but didn』t lose his compassion. Years of detective work let him lose his lovely daughter, but didn』t make him ruthless. Though Carl was teased by the clever mouse several times, he still did not treat Frank as a criminal. He regarded Frank as a little boy, who should be lead on the right way.

The brilliant mouse, Frank enred too much heartbreak in his childhood. Father』s bankruptcy, parents』 divorce drove him to go astray. He deceived every person he met. But at the Christmas Eve, Frank told the truth to Carl on the phone. He was so lonely at that time. Even though he was a great con man, don』t forget, Frank was still a teenager who was interested in the comic books. He needs family. He needs love. All the fraud he made was aim at repairing his family.

Then, when the two people who both had broken family were involved with each other, a new relationship was founded.

Carl wasn』t as handsome as Frank Sr. He did not have little tricks such as 「the lost necklace」. But he appreciated Frank』s genius and taked a long time to rescue Frank. He knew he would try in vain to do it. But he still loved Frank, and treated Frank as his own child.

It was incredible that a cat would love a mouse. But Carl did it.

Fortunately, Frank gave up evil and returned to good with Carl』s help.

Although I think it was sad that Frank was also a clerk in FBI at last. It wouldn』t be exciting for our audience. But after years of crazy, Frank needed to live like a common person, just as his happy childhood in France.

Remember, Frank』s peace life should be attributed to Carl, who was clement enough. It』s Carl that makes the film full of love. Perhaps the relationship between them should be called 「The cat father and the mouse son」.
