Jamal Malik:「come run with me」

Latika: 「run? where? life of what?」

Jamal Malik:「love..」

Jane: I thought you』d gone.

Rochester: I changed my mind or rather the Ingram family changed their』s. Why are you crying?

Jane: I was thinking about having to leave Thornfield.

Rochester: You』ve become quite attached to that foolish little Adele, haven』t you? To that simple old Fairfax. You』d be sorry to part with them.

Jane: Yes, sir!

Rochester: It』s always the way in this life. As sooner as have you got settled in a pleasant resting place, you』re summoned to move on.

Jane: I told you, sir, I shall be ready when the order comes.

Rochester: It has come now!

Jane: Then it』s settled?

Rochester: All settled! Even about your future situation.

Jane: You』ve found a place for me?

Rochester: Yes, Jane, I have...er... the west of Ireland. You』ll like Ireland, I think. There are such warm-hearted people there.

Jane: It』s a long way off, sir.

Rochester: From what, Jane?

Jane: From England and from Thornfield.

Rochester: Well?

Jane: And from you, sir.

Rochester: Yes, Jane, it』s a long way. When you get there, I shall probably never see you again. We』ve been good friends, Jane, haven』t we?

Jane: Yes, sir.

Rochester: Even good friends may be forced to part. Let』s make the most of what time has left us. Let us sit here in peace. Even though we should be destined never to sit here again. Sometimes I have a queer feeling with regard to you, Jane. Especially when you』re near me as now. As if I had a string somewhere under my left rib. Tightly and inextricably knotted to a similar string situated in a corresponding corner of your little frame. And if we should have to be parted, that cord of communion would be snapped. Kind of a nervous notion I should take to bleeding inwardly. As for you, you』d forget me.

Jane: That I never will, sir. You know that. I see the necessity of going, but it』s like looking on the necessity of death.

Rochester: Where do you see that necessity?

Jane: In your bride.

Rochester: What bride? I have no bride.

Jane: But you will have!

Rochester: Yes, I will. I will.

Jane: You think I could stay here to become nothing to you? Do you think because I』m poor and obscure and plain that I』m soulless and heartless? I have as much soul as you and fully as much heart. And if God had gifted me with wealth and beauty, I should have made it as hard for you to leave me as it is now for me to leave you. There, I』ve spoken my heart, now let me go.

Rochester: Jane. Jane... you strange almost unearthly thing. It is you that I love as my own flesh.

Jane: Don』t mock...

Rochester: I』m over with Blanche. It』s you I want. Answer me, Jane, quickly. Say: 「Edward, I』ll marry you.」 Say it, Jane. Say it!

Jane: I want to read your face.

Rochester: Read quickly. Say, 「Edward, I』ll marry you.」

Jane: Edward, I』ll marry you.

Rochester: God pardon me.

1. You let go and I'm gonna have to jump in there after you.

(On deck. Rose is crying and runs past Jack who is lying on a bench smoking. She climbs over the ship's railings and hangs on with her back to the ship about to jump into the sea.)

JACK: Don't do it!

ROSE: Stay back! Don't come any closer!

JACK: Come on! Just give me your hand and I'll pull you back over.

ROSE: No, stay where you are! I mean it! I'll let go!

JACK: No, you won't!

ROSE: What do you mean, No I won't? Don't presume to tell me what I will and will not do. You don't know me.

JACK: Well, you would have done it already.

ROSE: You're distracting me. Go away!

JACK: I can't. I'm involved now. You let go, and I'm gonna have to jump in there after you.

(Jack starts taking off his shoes.)

ROSE: Don't be absurd. You'd be killed.

JACK: I'm a good swimmer.

ROSE: The fall alone would kill you.

JACK: It would hurt; I'm not saying it wouldn't. To tell you the truth, I'm a lot more concerned about that water being so cold.

ROSE: How cold?

JACK:Freezing. Maybe a couple of degrees over. Have you ever, uh, ever been to Wisconsin?

ROSE: What?

JACK:Well, they have some of the coldest winters around. I grew up there, near Chippewa Falls. I remember when I was a kid, me and my father, we went ice-fishing out on Lake Wisota. Ice-fishing is, you know, when you...

ROSE: I know what ice-fishing is!

JACK: Sorry. You just seemed like, you know, kind of an indoor girl. Anyway, I uh, fell through some thin ice, and I'm telling ya, water that cold, like right down there, it hits you like a thousand knives stabbing you all over your body. You can't breathe, you can't think, at least not about anything but the pain. Which is why I'm not looking forward to jumping in there after you. Like I said, I don't have a choice. I guess I'm kind of hoping that you'll come back over the railing and get me off the hook here.

(He starts to take off his coat).

ROSE: You're crazy!

JACK: That's what everybody says, but with all e respect, miss, I'm not the one hanging off the back of a ship here. Come on! Come on, give me your hand. You don't want to do this.

(She takes his hand and turns around. They are facing each other but Rose is on the other side of the railing.)

JACK: Whew. I'm Jack Dawson.

ROSE: I'm Rose Dewitt Buchater.

2. Only you can do that.

(Rose and Jack are alone in the room.)

ROSE: Jack, this is impossible. I can't see you.

JACK: I need to talk to you!

ROSE: No, Jack, no! Jack, I'm engaged. I'm marrying Cal. I love Cal.

JACK: Rose, you're no picnic. All right, you're a spoiled little brat even, but under that you're the most amazingly astoundingly wonderful girl—woman I've ever known and...

ROSE: Jack, I...

JACK: No, no. Let me try to get this out. You, you're amazing. I'm not an idiot. I know how the world works. I've got ten bucks in my pocket. I have nothing to offer you, and I know that. I understand. But I'm too involved now. You jump, I jump, remember? I can't turn away without knowin' that you'll be all right. That's all that I want.

ROSE: Well, I'm fine, I'll be fine. Really.

JACK: Really? I don't think so. They've got you trapped, Rose and you're goin' to die if you don't break free. Maybe not right away, because you're strong. But sooner or later that fire that I love about you, Rose, that fire is going to burn out.

ROSE: It's not up to you to save me, Jack.

JACK: You're right. Only you can do that.

3. Oh god. I couldn't go.

(Rose's lifeboat is lowered slowly into the sea. Rose looks up at Jack tears pouring down her face. Suddenly she climbs back onto the Titanic scrambling onto the deck below Cal and Jack.)

JACK: Rose! Noooo!

CAL: Stop her!

JACK: Rose! What are you doing?

CAL: Stop her!

JACK: No!

(Jack runs down the stairs to meet her as she runs towards him wearing Cal's coat which has the diamond in its pocket. They embrace.)

JACK: Rose, you're so stupid! Why did you do that, huh? You're so stupid, Rose! Why did you do that? Why?

ROSE: You jump, I jump, right?

JACK: Right.

ROSE: Oh, god. I couldn't go. I couldn't go, Jack.

JACK: It's all right. We'll think of something.

ROSE: At least I'm with you.

JACK: We'll think of something.

4. You must do me this honor. You must promise me that you will survive...

(Both Rose and Jack are in the icy-cold sea now.)

ROSE: I love you, Jack.

JACK: No... Don't you do that. Don't say your good-byes. Not yet. Do you understand me?

ROSE: I'm so cold.

JACK: Listen, Rose. You're going to get out of here. You're going to go on and you're going to make lots of babies and you're going to watch them grow and you're going to die an old, an old lady, warm in your bed. Not here. Not this night. Not like this. Do you understand me?

ROSE: I can't feel my body.

JACK: Winning that ticket was the best thing that ever happened to me. It brought me to you. And I'm thankful for that, Rose, I'm thankful. You must do me this honor. You must promise me that you will survive... that you won't give up...no matter what happens...no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise.

ROSE: I promise.

JACK: Never let go.

ROSE: I will never let go, Jack, I'll never let go.

A: A new film is on.Have you ever seen it?B: What kind of movie is it?A: Romantic movieB Oh,I admit I love romance.Tell me more about the film.A Well,"ONE DAY"is a film about emma and dexter ,who met a after graation on July 15th,1988.And then they became friends, even lovers. B Sounds like a fantastic movie!I want to see it.

ANN: (brushing her hair) I hate this nightgown. I hate all my nightgowns. And I hate all my underwear too.
COUNTESS: My dear, you have lovely things.
ANN: But I'm not two hundred years old! (Dropping down on the bed) Why can't I sleep in pyjamas?
COUNTESS: (looking up as she folds the sheets into place) Pyjamas!
ANN: (Just) the top half. Did you know there are people who sleep with absolutely nothing on at all?
COUNTESS: (opening the window) I rejoice to say that I did not.
ANN: (lying against the headboard, smiling as she hears distant music coming in through the window) Listen.
COUNTESS: Oh, and your slippers. Please put on your slippers and come away at the window. Your milk and crackers.
ANN: (taking the tray; as the Countess helps her pull the covers over her) Everything we do is so wholesome【
COUNTESS: They'll help you to sleep.
ANN: (stubbornly) I'm too tired to sleep-- can't sleep a wink【
COUNTESS: Now my dear, if you don't mind tomorrow's schele--or schele whichever you prefer-- both are correct. Eight thirty, breakfast here with the Embassy staff; nine o'clock, we leave for the Polinory Automotive Works where you'll be presented with a small car.
ANN: (disinterested; absently playing with a napkin)Thank you.

COUNTESS: Yes.

COUNTESS: (retrieving the tray) It's alright, dear, it didn't spill.

You must get something in your mind, why don't spill it.
常與它連用的短語有:spill out ; spill the beans
It's no use crying over spilt milk.
ANN: I don't care if it's spilled or not. I don't care if I'm drown in it (throws her head into the pillow)!
COUNTESS: (putting her hands on her shoulders to comfort her) My dear, you're ill. I'll send for Doctor Bonnachoven.

COUNTESS: You're not dying.

ANN: (throwing herself on the pillow, beating it with her fist) I don't want to!
COUNTESS: (standing up straight, speaking with authority) Your Highness. I'll get Doctor Bonnachoven.
ANN: (looking up as she leaves) It's no use, I'll be dead before he gets here.

JOE: Hey! hey, hey,... Hey, wake up!

ANN: What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency in the souls of its young men and...
JOE: Yeah, I er, couldn't agree with you more, but erm--

如 :I couldn't agree with you any more on the the proposal.

JOE: Come on, (takes her up by the arm) climb in the cab and go home.

MASTER OF CEREMONIES: Ladies and Gentlemen: Her Royal Highness will now answer your questions.
CHIEF OF CORRESPONDENTS: I believe at the outset, Your Highness, that I should express the pleasure of all of us at your recovery from the recent illness.

CORERESPONDENTS: Which of the cities visited did Your Highness enjoy the most? (Ann pauses as she looks at Joe.)
ANN: Each in its own way was...unforgettable. It would be difficult to-- Rome, by all means, Rome. I will cherish【珍惜】 my visit here, in memory, as long as I live.

Emma?

You sent out your save-the-dates?

Yeah, I did, actually.

Surprised?

So one of us...

is not moving her date?

Well, you amaze me, Liv. You really do.

You-You never ask me what I want.

You just figure you know best, end of story.

"Emma, wear this. Emma, say that."

Well, Emma's pretty frickin' tired of it.

Don't think I didn't notice how totally freaked out...

you were because I had the nerve to get engaged before you

Okay, wait. First of all, Daniel bought that ring in December.

Okay? So officially, I was first.

Oh, pathetic. Pathetic!

Second, people always make you do things you don't wanna do.

Emma, it's like you don't have a spine. Oh, wait. That's right.

You don't have a spine.

No one could accuse you of being soft, Liv.

You grabbed the first date in June Marion offered.

without even asking me first.

At least I'm not so terrified of being alone...

that I people-please my way through life.

Emma, you settle.

Are you saying that I'm settling with Fletcher?

I wasn't thinking about Fletcher.

You came up with that one on your own.

Move your date, Liv.

You move your date, Emma.

It's done. You lose.

Your wedding better watch it.

What did you just say?

I said your wedding should be very scared right now.

If I were your wedding, I'd sleep with one eye open.

Why don't you just save your threats for Daniel?

After all, isn't that how you got a proposal out of him?

That's how I did it. Your wedding can suck it.

What did you just say? My wedding can suck it?

- I said your wedding can suck it. - Your wedding can s- be-

I mean, yours can be, um-

Can-Can be, uh-

not that-

拜託
Please.

Bye, ladies. Hey, Liv.

什麼
Yes.

Your wedding will be huge.

Just like your ass at prom.

Isabella Swan: [to Edward] I know what you are. You're impossibly fast. And strong. Your skin is pale white, and ice cold. Your eyes change colour and you never eat or come out into the sun.
Edward Cullen:"Say it out loud. Say it. "
Isabella Swan: ...Vampire. "
Bella: How old are you?
Edward: Seventeen.
Bella: How long have you been seventeen?
Edward: A while.
Edward: Bella, you are my life now.
Bella: I dream about being with you forever.
Edward: Forever?
Edward: Is it not enough just to have a long and happy life with me?
Bella: If this ends badly being that I become the meal.
Edward Cullen:"I don't have the strenghth to stay away from you anymore."
Edward:I'm the world's most dangerous predator.Everything about me invites you in...My voice,my face...even my smell.
And if I would need any of that.
As if you could out run me!
As if you could fight me off!
