《时代终结》现场的录制大获成功
夜愿乐队昨天在赫尔辛基的Hartwall剧场录制了《时代终结》现场版。读者可以想象，剧场的气氛相当火爆，但也相当忧伤。这是Once为期一年半的世界巡演的最后演出。夜愿为这场难以置信的旅程衷心感谢大家。

不幸的是，《时代终结》这个标题还有一层更深的含义。演出后致塔佳的这封公开信说明了一切。全文如下：

亲爱的塔佳：

现在是选择让夜愿结束或是再持续一段不确定时间的时候了。
我们和它一起工作了9年，现在还不打算放弃。
夜愿是一条生活道路，一种为之活着的东西，我们当然不能让它就此完结。

同样当然的还有，我们再也不能跟你和Marcelo（Marcelo Cabuli，她的丈夫，阿根廷企业家——wings）一同走下去了。
这一年发生了很多事，我每日每夜，脑子都被这些事缠着。你的态度和行为跟夜愿已经完全不符了。
那是我从来没有相信能在亲爱的老朋友身上看见的东西。
一年不说话的人们，是没法留在同一个乐队里的。

我们卷入了一种行业，这儿商业面的东西变成了一种必要的邪恶，而且每时每刻都需要担心。
我们也是一个一直需要用心来做音乐的乐队，为了友谊，为了音乐本身。精神上的满足本应永远比金钱重要的！
夜愿是一个乐队，是一种情感。

不幸的是，对你而言，生意，金钱还有跟情感八杆子打不着的事物，却变得更为重要，而且很重要。你感到你为夜愿牺牲了自己和自己的音乐生涯，丝毫没有想过乐队给了你什么。

这种态度，你在多伦多的飞机上跟我说过的两句话已经显示得很清楚了：
“我再也不需要夜愿了。”
“记着托马斯，我可以随时离开乐队，只提前一天给你个通知。”

我简直不能再给你写歌了。

你说过你在夜愿里只是一个“客座音乐家”。现在作客完结了，我们会跟一个新的女歌手把夜愿继续下去。

你跟我们说无论如何，下一张夜愿专辑都是你的最后一张。然而，只要火还不灭，我们余下的人总会向前走的。所以再和你合作这张专辑也没有意义了。
我们四个已经把情况考虑了无数次，发现这才是我们实际要做的东西，也只能做这些。

2004年12月，你在德国说再也不会一次巡演半个月以上了。还说我们应该忘掉美国和澳大利亚，因为报酬太低，场地也太小。

接受采访的时候我提到过如果塔佳走了，乐队就完了。我知道人们会作如此想。然而，夜愿是我灵魂的一道风景，我并不打算因为一个人就放手——因为一个要为别人贡献创造力的人，一个价值观和我不符的人！

你从没参与创作编排，在这9年中从没在去工作室录制之前跟我们预演，在巡演的时候总要跟你丈夫离开我们单飞，总是乐队无可争辩的前台形象——这一切我们从没有烦恼过。

我们能接受一切，但不能接受贪婪，轻视乐迷和违背约定。咱们五个都商量好了在2004－2005年，夜愿要优先一切。然而还有那么多东西对你而言更加重要。最后的例子就是奥斯陆那场票已经卖完了的音乐会，你要取消，就因为你要排演自己的个唱，会朋友，看电影。这是Marcelo在电邮里解释退出的话。这还只是那么多事情中的一件！我真想不出还有什么更糟糕的自私和对乐迷的排斥了。

夜愿是一种带着很多责任的生活方式。对我们是如此，对乐迷也是如此。和你一起，我们再也不能实践这些义务了。

我们内心深处也不知道你们哪一个把我们逼到了这种地步。不知怎么，Marcelo把你从一个可爱的姑娘变成了一个女主角，想法跟做法都跟以前大相径庭。你对自己的不可代替和地位太自信了点。

显然你把自己的紧张和痛苦归咎于我们四个，认为我们不尊重你，不听你的。请相信，我们一直都对你怀着至高无上的尊敬，作为一个出色的歌唱家和朋友。过去几年我们的计划也常常只按照你的决定来作。而总是只有你想从音乐会多挣钱。这种“事事来钱”的态度，才是我们最失望的！

我们希望从现在开始你会倾听自己的内心，而不是Marcelo的。文化差异跟贪心，投机主义和爱合在一起，是非常危险的。请不要让自己凋谢。

作出这个决定我们一点也不自豪，但你让我们别无选择。我们之间的隔阂太大了。这个决定是我们一致通过的。谈话已经没法解决问题了。

Tarja10月25日的回信

自从上个星期天早上以来，歌迷俱乐部和来自芬兰及全世界的歌迷要求我在杂志、报刊、广播和电视台表达我的立场。对我来说不可能找出时间去一个个地回复这么多人，因此我决定在这儿写下我想说的让我的歌迷，家人，朋友和公众知道在最近的这些事件后我的感受。

这是一个悲伤和痛苦的时刻，我发现很难说出口。

此刻我正在阿根廷。我希望你们能理解这次骇人听闻的事件就像离婚一样，我不想单独待在芬兰的家里。我的丈夫在几个月前已经订了飞往阿根廷的机票，最近我决定和他一起旅行。

但是事实上我在阿根廷，遥远的距离当然不应该成为不去评论这个事件的借口。

10月21日，上周五，整个乐队等了很长时间。

早上开始练习的时候，我有些不舒服和紧张，我甚至不能在排演的时候演唱。

紧张是因为这个音乐会的过程比以前nightwish的更长。而且我还将和一个特别的客串一起表演，要比平时更多次地变换剧装并且是在舞台上第一次用大屏幕和大规模表演。

时刻忘不了这场音乐会会被录制并拍成电影。

我们5个人最终把这次演出放在了Hartwall舞台。

即使我们每个人都事先知道了这场演出的票已经卖完了，最后在舞台上，我们看到了尖叫、鼓掌和从座位上站起来的人们。当时的感觉是难以置信的。

我不会忘记受到芬兰观众华丽接待的经历是多么让人惊异。

当音乐会结束的时候，我在舞台上幸福地哭了。幸福的眼泪是因为即使我病了我也能做到最好，幸福的眼泪是因为我们长长的演出获得了成功的结束，幸福的眼泪是因为有一个艺术家能获得的最好的认可--掌声和微笑。

在那时我还不知道我不久将会又一次哭泣。

那次演出完，乐队的队友在后台邀请我一起拥抱。这次感觉奇怪因为在以前传统上我们在每次音乐会时都聚在一起同样地拥抱。这个传统保留着，即使很长一段时间来存在着紧张和越来越多的压力。

我直接的感觉就是大声地感谢他们，但没有一个人回应。

在这以后，他们给了我一封信并要求我第二天再读。同样的信现在公开了。

我读了信并感到震惊。

我不知道该说什么，此时我正在写这些

在那封信中我感到了巨大的愤怒，同时也很困惑。但是，我不想用更大的愤怒来反击。私人事情不应该被公开。

我知道此刻对于每个人，包括他们，我都很悲伤。

虽然有很多不同的可能性和方式去表达他们在信中想要告诉我的，但我仍然不理解他们选择了这种处理方式。我抱歉他们误解我了。我不认可自己是他们描述中的那样。

在信中，他们穿插着提到了有关我低劣的事情，还有我的丈夫Marcelo。他是我爱的人，我的朋友，在过去的一年中我的最大的支持者。

我们在一个乐队已经9年了，经历了美好的时光，没有比这更好的了。我想我了解他们，可是我错了。

发生的一切不会让我把他们看成是坏人。

夜愿乐队成立于1996年的芬兰交响哥特金属团Nightwish是芬兰这个弹丸小国的一宝，北欧的淳厚
的古典积淀和新金属的浓烈氛围，造就了Nightwish的天籁之音。

1996年七月的一个夜晚,当Tuomas与他的朋友们在树林里坐在篝火旁聚会的时候,Nightwish这个想法第一次出现在他们的脑海里，他们当时就创作了三首歌曲并于当年12月录制了出来.最初乐队的成员只有三人Tuomas,Tarja和Emppu. 后来大家觉的这些歌需要有鼓声,因此Jukka也加入了进来.Emppu将原来的箱琴换成了电琴,Nightwish又创作了些新歌,他们在97年4月花了一星期的时间录制了7首作品.97年乐队与Spinefarm签订了两张专辑的合约.这样他们又创作了4首作品.其中Carpenter这首歌登上了芬兰单曲榜的第8位.97年11月乐队首张专辑Angels Fall First正式发行,听众反映良好,但乐队很快就停止了活动。Emppu和Jukka要服兵役而 Tarja要完成学业.大家与公司协商后延长了合同并将专辑数量变为三张.98年5月公司为Nightwish发布了Carpenter等歌的Video.而同年夏天,贝司手Sami Vanska加入到队伍中.8月Nightwish备齐人马开始了新的工作.先录制了单曲的video,到12月7日,乐队至今最成功的专辑Oceanborn发布了.它登上了专辑榜第五名,其中单曲sacrament of wilderness成功的坐上了单曲榜的头把交椅.Nightwish开始全国巡演,等到99年春天,Oceanborn在海外成功发行.乐队在欧洲特别是德国极受欢迎,所有作品全部热卖,他们开始参加大型音乐节并进行欧洲巡演了.
2000年Nightwish开始制作自己的第三张专辑,可乐队在欧洲电视网芬兰歌曲大赛中的参赛歌曲sleep walker牵扯了大家的精力不得不暂停工作,最终sleep walker得到了第二名,而公众评判则是第一名.同年乐队的最新大碟Wishmaster终于发布.一经售卖立刻登上了芬兰排行榜首位,并停留了三个星期.而且被德国Rock Hard评为了2000年6月的最佳大碟(超过了Bon Jovi和iron Maiden的新专辑)并成为金唱片.
现在Nightwish可以说是芬兰最红的乐队了,她们那种女声Gothic metal深受北欧大众的喜爱,可以预见在不远的将来,她们会成长为一颗真正耀眼的Rock star.
《Angels Fall First》是乐队的首张大碟，并取得了不俗的成绩。很快这几个芬兰人又带来了新作《Oceanborn》。tarja的女声还是那么特别，把古典元素细致的融入金属乐，与Therion不同的是，Tarja 的音质更富冒险。她更多的按单音节清晰发音，一个完整使用元音歌剧花腔女高音似乎更适合这种交响力量金属。个人也更乐意听到她这 种歌剧层次化的嗓音，特别是在类似"Swanheart"和"Walking in the air"这样的歌曲中。
当然，如果你听过本世纪2大歌剧女高音Maria callas和Kirsten flagstad会领略到更精深的唱腔，但在金属一派，能与Tarja匹敌的还真不多。
专辑的词多出自Tuomas，他同时还负责演奏合成器和低沉的男音嘶吼,Marco加入乐队后改为由Marco负责男生演唱。Nightwish在他们的歌曲中涉及到了幻象和神话，为细心的听者编织出一个梦一般的仙境。
如前面所提，Nightwish玩的是交响力量金属，这很容易让人想到他们的另一支芬兰金属同伴--Stratovarius。特别是"swanheart"中的长笛旋律段；类似"Stargazers"和"Gethsemane"中的器乐合奏；"Devil And The Deep Dark Ocean"中走出的跳跃、清馨的节奏；而"Moondance"更是一首俄罗斯民族旋律穿梭其间的器乐曲。美仑、一致的歌曲创作和清晰的唱片制作无疑是锦上添花。

专辑在密不透风的紧凑氛围下，穿插了两三首柔和的短曲，舒服得令人暂时忘记了重金属的压抑。这时，长笛，钢琴等便表露无遗，让人觉得像走进了鸟语花香地世外桃源一般。我最喜欢的是他们翻唱的名曲“Walking In The Air”，赋予歌曲以金属的霸气同时，不失歌曲原来的婉转。既有“飞流之下”的气势，也有“绕梁三日”的魅力。值得一提的还有几首男女对唱的曲目，感觉上形式有些像Lacrimosa，同样是低沉的男声配上非常悦耳的女声，或者说更像Rammstein与Stoa同台演出，因为这些曲子既带有Rammstein钢铁般的铿锵，也蕴含了Stoa的歌剧与新古典色彩。
出版于1998年的专辑《Oceanborn》可以说是延续了第一张作品的全部优点。Tarja那仿歌剧唱腔更加激进，而且吉它和键盘中更加入了许多北欧黑金属的演奏手法,整张专辑十分猛烈，所有快板作品在扫射般的Metal riff与喷火的键盘音符推动下叫人热血沸腾。不多的男女双主唱作品如《Deval&the deep dark ocean》等作品中都有一种有别于其它所谓女声Gothic metal组合的独特气质。键盘这次没有过多的音色变化,全是激进的快板旋律.只在《Swanheart》和《Walking in the air》这专辑里仅有的两首抒情慢歌中变幻出一份柔情。尤其令人称道的是，Nightwish乐队的歌词很多写得不错，这在众多摇滚乐队当中是很难得的。
总的说来，Nightwish这张经典之作带来的是一场重金属的极速之旅，偶尔的一两首慢歌，也只不过是紧张刺激之余适当的调剂罢了。无怪乎很多人同意Nightwish的Oceanwish是1998年最佳的重金属专辑之一。

这张《Wishmaster》是他们的第三张专辑，发行于2000年，也是风格发生重大变化并引起广大拥趸争议的一张专辑。
女声主唱Tarja用一种很纯粹的古典唱腔和乐队激昂暴烈的鼓点、吉他交织在一起，带来了非同一般的冲击力。唱片的封面也是很有特点：血色黄昏中，一队天鹅从湖面上起飞。岸边，一个小男孩满怀期望的张开了双臂⋯⋯
专辑中第二首The Kinslayer（应该是译作家族杀手吧）。同时它也是到目前为止听到的四张Nightwish作品中最喜欢的一首了。这首曲子的整体节奏比较快，前奏也相当有特色。而主音则是在For whom the gun tolls的置疑声中开始了她的演唱。一开始并不觉得有什么，直到键盘手Tumoas的声音也加入了进来后，整个歌曲产生了质的变化。一问一答的形式下，尽现了Nightwish的音乐魅力。尤其那句"Not a hero unless you die. Our species eat the wounded ones"更是一语道尽了世态的炎凉。
Nightwish: Century Child (2002)
4专辑介绍：
2002年Nightwish在乐迷的高度期盼下发表了第四张录音室专辑，此时bass的位置已由前Sinergy的bass手Marco Hietala入替，Marco在专辑中也担任了几首曲目的高音男主唱，与Tarja有对唱表现。
此张专辑再次加重了劲道，风格上可说综合了前两张专辑，一方面回到的直爽狂飙，同时又保有细致饱满的编曲，吉他音色变得稍微粗重些，在"Slaying The Dreamer"一曲中甚至还加了一些thrash chord，堪称是Nightwish至今最heavy的一首曲子。除了唱诗班之外，此次终於也加入了交响乐团合奏，使乐曲的交响味更加浓烈，在重低音的部份也更为浑厚，而朗朗上口的优美旋律，让人从头到尾都忍不住随之唱和！芬兰乐团真不愧为「melody maker」啊！
在演唱上，Tarja在这张专辑中，除了声乐腔之外，也有较多一般腔的表现，同时由於新加入的Marco也能演唱，因此再次如般添入了男腔表现。Marco的音质一如标准的speed高音，加入男音自然让乐曲多了些变化性，至於乐迷是否欣赏Marco的演唱可能就因人而异了。
而继成功地改编了美美的"Walking In The Air"之后，此次则选择改编了著名的歌剧曲目「歌剧魅影(The Phantom of The Opera)」成为金属乐版本，风味果然是非常的Nightwish，Tarja在曲中后段大秀了她惊人的高音。另外，Nightwish作品的曲长向来多在三、四分钟左右，简洁有力、不拖泥带水的编曲形式，对於速金乐迷来说或许正是恰到好处，不过对於我们这种前金乐迷来说，总有一种曲子正到高潮处就突然结束的小小未满足感，此次末尾精彩的10分多钟长篇之作"Beauty Of The Beast"，总算是满足了喜好长篇大作乐迷的渴望！
Nightwish: Once (2004)

《Dark Passion Play》是来自芬兰的歌特金属乐队 Nightwish 夜愿 的第六张专辑，同时也是新的主唱 Anette Olzon 加入后的第一张专辑，并且第一次在演唱者名单上少了 Tarja Turunen 的名字，因为她于2005年10月离开了 Nightwish 夜愿。Nuclear Blast 和 Roadrunner Records 预计2007年9月26日发行的本专辑推迟到了28日，此辑也是乐队三年来的第一张专辑，由此在乐队的历史上留下了一段较长的空白期。
据说制作《Dark Passion Play》总共花费了超过500,000欧元，这种制作成本是 Nightwish 夜愿 之前的专辑《Once》的两倍，也是芬兰历史上最昂贵的专辑。其中大部分花在了在Abbey大道的录音室里与伦敦Session管弦乐团的合作上，另外270,000欧元用于专辑MV的拍摄。
