说到武状元苏乞儿的原创音乐，印象最深的就是林子祥演唱的《长路漫漫任我闯》了
唐伯虎点秋香:胡伟立所作的最出色，也最活泼的一张碟子。其中引用了一些名曲，如心跳时候的将军令，还有拉赫曼尼诺夫第二号钢琴协奏曲等。但其中又很好地运用了东方乐器，中西结合，高雅而不失活泼，与影片风格相得益彰。
1994年的《九品芝麻官》虽然是一如既往的古装无厘头，但这一部在台词和情节构思都很巧妙，可称得上此类型片的上等之作，可以排到当年香港电影票房第七位。此片原声音乐为胡伟立创作。
