理查德·桑德森（richard sanderson）1953年3月5日出生於英國塔普羅（taplow），英國歌手，父親是蘇格蘭人，鼓手，母親是法國人，手風琴手，自幼愛好並學習音樂。

15歲時自學吉他，曾經在美國伯克萊大學進修和聲和弦樂，25時為蘇菲·瑪索主演的電影《初吻》演唱主題曲《reality》，並且在歐洲15個國家拿到冠軍曲目，35歲後學習電影配樂，現與妻子和三個女兒居於巴黎附近。
