『肆』 一些電影名字的翻譯

我們習慣將電影的中心通過命名來展現，一方面有助於觀眾對電影概況基調的把握，另一方面確實很吸引人，很出彩，比如《Mr.and Mrs.Smith》譯成《史密斯行動》就比直譯《史密斯夫婦》更能體現故事中心，至少我們知道它是一部特工片而非普通故事片。你覺得the Rock譯成「巨石」吸引你還是「勇闖奪命島」更吸引你？
同時，向Taken這種根本無法直譯，就算勉強譯出也讓人不能理解。
當然也有像《the Sound of Music》譯成「仙樂飄飄何處聞」這種比較詭異的……
我個人覺得這樣翻譯在多數情況下都挺好，唯一的缺點就是這讓我們忽略了電影原來的名字，使得我們在網上（尤其是外國網站）尋找原版電影時麻煩些。
